I received a delivery from Glass City Movers on 3/28/2023 for an order from *************. I paid for in-home delivery. I had less than 24-hournotice of the delivery time, not even a call to SCHEDULE a time like I was informed would happen, they just told me when it would be delivered. I was then told I was unable to cancel the delivery ahead of time bug could cancel the deliverywhen they gave me the 30-minutewarning call in the morning. I never received a 30-minutecall, I received a text message 10 minutesbefore they arrived.Upon arrival they rang the doorbell and started unloading the furniturewithout even confirming if I was home. The 2 delivery men attemptedto shove part of my delivery through the front door, damaging my doorway, closet, and the furniture itself. I suggested they bring it around to the back door, a larger opening, to which I was told they would have to leave it OUTSIDE as they would not go through the back door. I informed them I paid for the in-home delivery and fully expected my furnitureto bedeliveredinside my house. One of the delivery men then told me he would bring it around back if I paid them an extra $20. I did as I had no other option. They only delivered half of my order, I am missing 2 pieces, and I never signed to confirm the deliveryor that I received everything, because I did not. Upon unwrapping my delivery,I noticed multiple tears in the upholsteryof my furniture. I called the company shortly after delivery to file a complaint. I spoke to someone who took my info and statedsomeone would be in contact with me and I have notheard anything since. ************* customer service also statedthey notified ************************************************* of my issues and sent over the photographs of the damage to my property and the furniture. I am requesting assistanceto help find the rest of my delivery, get reimbursed for the extra money to have the in-home delivery I already paid for, and to get compensation for the damage to my property.

Glass City Movers moved our belongings from ********, ** to ***********, **. On July 15, 2022, while the movers were taking our things from the truck into the house, they tracked asphalt into our home and onto some rugs. I contacted **** at Glass City Movers, and after 30 emails back and forth and several phone calls, the rugs still have not been cleaned and the problem has not been resolved. Essentially, he wanted me to contact and hire cleaners, and he assured me he would pay for it. I told him that this was not my responsibility, but rather his, and I felt very uncomfortable being put in this kind of position. Eventually, he gave me the names of two cleaners, and out of frustration, I called them. One came out, gave a written estimate ($343), and wrote that he was not certain he could remove the stains, and if he could not, then the rug may have to be replaced. The second person said that he would not come out to give an estimate, but that he would come out and do the work for $195 (nothing in writing). I sent all of this to **** and told him that I personally felt uncomfortable with the second cleaner, but it was his call. I told **** repeatedly that he should hire the cleaners, send a work order to whoever he hired (and include a copy to me) and that in this work order he would clearly state that GCM would pay the cleaners directly for the cleaning. It has now been nearly three months and the stains are still here. I will be happy to provide the-30 email chain between **** and me, so you can see correspondence first-hand. I am very dissatisfied with my dealings with **** and Glass City Movers, and I want the rugs cleaned to my satisfaction, or have them replaced.
