Complete Auto Restorations is revamping it's business model. They , like many other businesses, are reeling from the covid fraud which has disrupted our country, and , as a result, folk don't seem to want to work anymore, instead, sitting back and collecting a govt check. That means restoration projects taken on in good faith are not being done, no one available to help do the work. One employee can't do it all. No work out the door means a poor performance review, which the one star represents. The projects that were completed were award-winning, but the key word is 'completed'. *******, the lad in the other review, should have no issues finding a good job, all depends on his skills. Complete Auto Restoration has suspended further new projects until they can clear up the back inventory of work. How long that period will be is anyone's guess, but for now, suggest you explore other avenues for a restoration. Shop costs are not low, shop rates are around $110 per hour average. Even ******************* folk are making more than $16 per hour. Costs and expectations are skewed as the poverty level in the *** is around $44k for a family of four, which in ****** would be in the top 10% of incomes.....go figure. I can have work done in *****, who pay their workers 65 cents an hour, why pay $17 per hour to have the same work done in the ***? There lies the problem.....Customers choose based on cost, and a shop paying an employee $65 per hour to work on an old car does not leave enough meat on the bone to cover overhead, rent, etc...which means one person tries to do it all....and that's not a business model that is sustainable.... Find a restoration shop where you can do part of the work to keep costs down, and provides detail work done each week, validated with pics sent to you showing the progress. Paying $110 per shop hour for a young lad to remove rust with a wire brush is something most car owners can do instead to reduce the costs. Good luck!

If I could give them zero stars I would. What a joke, go for a job interview and get the job. Put my two weeks in at my previous employer, got a trailer to move my tools and box, filled all their paperwork work out, my all plans to move jobs only for them to call me with hours left on my last day and say never mind. Im in out of a job and bills and a family to take care of. I would never recommend this place to anyone not even for employment.
