    We hired ******* and his team to take down a tree in our yard. He said he accepts cash or check and he has to get the full amount before the work is done. No issue with that as he did other work for us. We paid him $2200. He came the first day and said his chipper was broke but can do 90% of the tree. They spent 8 solid hours here and did 10%. They said theyd be back; they havent. Its been more than 3 weeks and hes making excuse after excuse. He keeps bidding people out and told me he won a cruise. How did he win a cruise? By gambling. I even asked for money back, he agreed but then ghosted me again. Do not use this buisness

    On Oct. 11, we contracted with Two River Trees to remove a tree in our front yard. We paid $3,000 cash up front because we were told we would get a discount. We were told they would coordinate with *** to pull a line, removing power from our house for the day. The work was scheduled for the 21st. It did not happen--we were told that the *** got the wrong day and the tree would be removed on the 28th. On the 28th, no one showed up. We reached out repeatedly and heard nothing. Finally we were told that he had been in the hospital and would reschedule. We waited and heard nothing. He did not reply to my my husband's repeated text and voice messages. I finally called from a different number, leaving a message as if I were a new customer. He called back within three minutes saying they were accepting new work. I then said he had our money and we needed the tree removed. He made excuses, saying that he had a funeral that weekend (that was on a Tuesday) and would contact my husband. He did not. My husband made repeated attempts to contact him. On Nov. 24, I told him that we expected a refund--plus an additional $24 for the interest we lost having taken the money out of a savings account. When, after three calls, he did not respond to me, I left a negative review on Home Advisor and when I called today (Nov. 26) told him I had done so. That's when he replied saying that he didn't have our money--his account was in the negative and that our leaving bad reviews made it hard for him to lie up more work, even though he did not offer to complete our work.

    On March 7th, 2024, ********************************* signed a contract saying that for the cost of $3300, he would: 1) Remove **** disease oak in the backyard 2) Remove 4 pine trees along driveway 3) Top oak tree in front 4) complete clean up and hauling away.He gave us $200 off to pay this amount in full on March 7th. I wrote him a check for $3300.There were then a litany of various excuses via text, as to why he could not do the work. We were patient at first, but this has gone on for 3 months. He will say he is coming on a certain date, but never show up, and not contact us. When we reach out he has another excuse and sets another date further ahead. This has been going on for 3 months! We have let him know that the work needs to be done by the end of May, or we need our money back. He was supposed to come this morning, June 3rd, but then changed it to the afternoon. And then at 2:08pm texted that it would be "a few hours". We have heard nothing since then.

    February 3 2023, Owner of Two Rivers Tree Service had listed their 2021 Bandit Chipper for sale. A price was agreed upon and the shipping broker was scheduled. Last day ******* withdrew the full amount of $27,000 and ghosted the shipping company and myself. He claimed it was stolen. However no report was provided and the money was spent at nearby casinos according to **** The money was sent via wire transfer and nothing but promises, lies and now threats from ******* in regards to refunding the money for the product he failed to deliver.
