    I rented tables, chairs, and linens from this company, including paying a delivery fee for drop-off and pickup. After the event, their driver mistakenly took one of my personal linens and left behind one of theirs. Instead of correcting their error, they charged me for the missing linen.When I contacted them, they acknowledged that the delivery driver picked up the wrong itembut still refused to return my linen or pick up their own. I was told it was my responsibility to bring their linen back to them and retrieve mine. They refused to refund the delivery fee or provide any compensation, and the owner repeatedly told me to man up and handle it myself. He admitted my linen was sitting on his desk but said he would not bring it back.

    ***, We are sorry that you feel that your experience was unfair and not satisfactory. Our driver did not mistakenly "take" one of your linens. He took the pile of linens that were prepared for him (your words). Once back to the office, our laundry department noticed that one was not ours. We immediately called your cell number to notify you that our linen must still be at your site and that we had one of yours. It honestly happens a lot and other customers will simply find the missing linen, bring it to our showroom, we do a friendly swap and continue with a beautiful business relationship. This situation did not go that way unfortunately. Instead of returning our calls and voicemails, you instead ignored them. Thinking that it wasn't a big deal (your words). As is our policy, the linen (or any missing item) is billed to the card on file. The voicemail left to you when we add the balance fully explained what was happening and how it can be fixed at any time by simply returning the linen for a full refund (no extended rental fees). When a customer reacts with yelling and cussing to the front counter staff, the customer and problem is handed off to a manager or the owner. In this case *** got the owner and our policy was again explained. We cannot try to retrieve or swap out every linen, piece of silverware, plate etc. that is returned or picked up by us by mistake. If a customers item is put in the pile of items that we are picking up they will be separated, customer contacted, placed in our lost and found area, and usually picked up by the customer. This policy was perceived as unfair to *** for some reason and we are sorry we have lost him as a customer. The owner also did not repeatedly tell *** to "man up", it was suggested once while we were discussing the fact that we are right on his way back and forth to work.

    We have worked with James and his team at Taylor Rentals in Holland for many years in handling our 4th of July Picnic needs on the beach and I have to say, they are the best! Professional, courteous, and accommodating to our requests. As well, they are very efficient and time conscience when delivering, setting up and picking up our rental items after the event. I would highly recommend Taylor Rentals for your next event!
