I cancelled my subscription with MLive.com and they sent me three emails to confirm that I canceled my subscription but MLive.com continue to charge my card every month. I call and spoke with someone that said my subscription was cancelled but MLive.com still charged my card for months when the subscription was cancelled. I have attached 3 confirmations emails that I received from MLive that state my subscription was cancelled. The cancellation emails from MLive to me were sent to me on April 9, May 5th and June 4th of 2025. MLive took money out of my account on May 4th and June 4th even though my subscription was cancelled. I attached proof.Initial Complaint

We have been having an ongoing issue with not getting our Sunday paper delivered. I have contacted the Grand Rapids Press numerous times and spoken with many different people re' this issue. Some of these people claim to be supervisors. Since renewing our subscription in February, we have received only 6 - 7 papers, each time after calling to say we didn't get our paper. Each time we call, they claim they will take care of the problem but it does not help. I have also tried contacting them online with no resolution to this issue.Initial Complaint

10 YEARS OF SUBSCRIPTION with the most disrespectful service if you want to call it that. missed papers, unable to talk to a local person, placed on hold til hung up on.now, i cancelled my subscription and am told it will be 4-7 weeks before i get a refund while they collect interest on my money. they did not give me the ***** of 4-7 weeks to pay my bill. the US government does not take that long.the content of the paper is abysmal and does not remotely resemble the history of this great paper of the town. i realize that the caliber of the employee is not professional but there seems to be a high price paid for the supervisors and administrative team to do very little to ameliorate this -that can be seen. you are never contacted and meaningful attempt made to do anything about it. my account # is ********Initial Complaint

I have repeatedly asked Mlive to stop throwing those ad /magazines in my yard. I am a handicap woman that don't go in the front very often but every time I go out there there's at least six or seven of them out all over my yard and they separate in the rain they get hit by snow the kids tear them apart I have numerously called mlive.com and talk to their delivery boss and complained about this person and a van that drives around my neighborhood she flips you the bird and yells f*** you and have numerously complained about the filthy language that she uses but I still have the problem of those ad/magazines all over my yard every time I go out to the front. And you can go down any Street and count at least 13 to 15 of those things laying on the ground because nobody wants them it's a waste of paper put them in the mailbox just like everybody else.Initial Complaint

I am still being charged every month for a closed account. I have proof that the account was successfully closed, in April of 2021, from the MLive corporation's own customer service department. After 6 months of countless and unsuccessful attempts to get help to resolve this issue. I am filing a complaint with the BBB. My credit card company has been working on this for several months, they have requested the company cease charges, yet the charges continue. I received communication from a woman named *******, for a short period of time. She ran some "test" credits and did refund a few of the charges. She then stopped returning both my emails and phone calls. I have reached out to their general customer service email address and I have tried to call every single branch, I cannot reach a single person. I will upload the proof of the cancelled account and I have a folder full of my email attempts and the initial responses that I received and the communication with *******, if you need to see those. They have charged me $10.00 each month for a total of 30 months, since the account was closed, totaling $300.00, at this point. As I mentioned above though, they are still charging me each month.Initial Complaint

M live and the Grand Rapids press deliver these flyers in our area, throwing them out the windows of the delivery persons car into all the ditches not even near the mailboxes in my opinion, theyre littering the road sides. Hello,In November, 2022 I paid $1 to ************* Media, LLC to gain access to MLive on-line website to view ************ related sports and news. Thereafter I was billed to my PayPal account $10/month and continue to be billed this amount monthly. The problem is I have now tried via 3 phone calls (1 in February) and 2 today (2 different individuals, one being "****") to cancel this subscription without success. Moreover, the experience has led me to believe this company has shameful practices in that you speak to a representative, tell them your name, email address, phone numbers and are then put on hold either to be disconnected or kept on hold for long enough where the phone call ends. Today, I have spent collectively for the two calls at least 45 minutes waiting for the representative to return to the call, which they did not.I am seeking first a cancellation of the subscription and second, return of funds from February 2023 through to July 2023 since I have been unable to cancel the subscription.Thank you BBB for looking into my inquiry.Initial Complaint

Mlive delivers a section of newspaper and throws it in my driveway. This has been going on for 8 years. I've complain to the about, but it hasn't stopped. I have no use for this paper. I've never subscribed to this paper. Their delivery of this paper is a nuisance as I have a dirt driveway and the paper is muddy and no one can read it. It is garbage to me. Since September 2022, I have tried via email (multiple times) , the website (twice) and by phone (twice) to stop the delivery of the free (and in my case unwanted) MLive ********** Best paper but to no avail. Other than working up the management chain, I don't know what else to do. It's a waste of paper, non-recyclable plastic and gasoline and a weekly annoyance for everyone on my street. I recently called last week and had a record of my prior complaints. They assured me that the paper would immediately stop coming to my house. But alas, it came again over the weekend (see photo).If the delivery person is paid to deliver per individual newspaper, they are misrepresenting their numbers, because each delivery results in 2 papers in 1 bag. Long ago the delivery person would pick up any papers not picked up a few days later, but that never happens any more. Please make your delivery person accountable for this waste of resources and homeowner's time and stop delivery to me and if possible my entire street (save the environment by saving gas).Initial Complaint

This year I purchased an annual subscription to the *** (Grand Rapids Press), This subscription included on-line viewing and a printer Sunday press delivered. For the last 5+ weeks the paper has not been delivered, I reached out to them every Monday after not receiving the paper. That have told me every time that it would be delivered and nothing. This week I contacted the circulation manager, and he told me he had delivery issues, he was not able to get me a paper. I told him I was going to file a complaint with the BBB and it was who-cares. I count on the Sunday press; I have older members in the family that enjoy reading it and I look forward to the advertised store saving. What is so disappointing is that Press now cost $5.00 for the Sunday edition.I feel the *** is turned into a has been service and home delivery is not a concern to them. Please, if you can reach out to someone I would apricate it. Thank you for your help.*************************
