  DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. We hired Corrigan to move us from *********, ** to ********. When we signed our contract, we were not notified of the possibility of our shipment being split into two. Half of our belongings arrived in ******** on time, and it took an additional week and a half for the rest of our belongings to arrive. At one point we were told, " We don't know when the rest of your belongings will be shipped, it hasn't left CA yet". This was pretty inconvenient for us, as we had to ask family to be present with us to accept our shipments, arrange for dog care on both arrival days, not to mention live in our new home for a few weeks with only half of our belongings/furnishings. Management told us we would be able to discuss compensation for these inconveniences, as we were told this is an unusual occurrence. We have corresponded with management back and forth many times, it has been a huge ongoing headache and now they are completely ignoring our messages and not responding. It has been over 3 months since our move. We never received any compensation for these inconveniences. Also, Corrigan damaged an item of ours during the move, as well as completely lost two shipping boxes of our belongings. Not only this, but the first delivery truck was an hour late to our scheduled delivery time, the truck arrived and got caught in a tree in our front yard, pulling a giant branch down. Our nice neighbor lent the delivery drivers their electric saw to dismantle this giant branch, which took another hour. Then the delivery drivers said "I think we'll be done unloading by 1pm". They were at our home from 10am until 8pm!!! This was only the first delivery with half of our belongings , mind you. We were minimally compensated for our broken and lost items, yet the lost items were never recovered. Our experience with Corrigan was frustrating, stressful and we would not recommend this company to others.

  Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We truly regret that the split shipment caused stress and inconvenience during your move, as we understand how important it is to have your belongings arrive together. In this case, the shipment loaded prior to yours exceeded its estimated size unexpectedly, which unfortunately required your order to be divided as there was no longer room on the truck. This certainly isnt ideal, but to ensure your shipment is still loaded on the day promised, waiting for another available driver is not an option, so the driver loaded what he could with the space available. While both portions of your shipment did arrive within the agreed delivery window, we recognize that this created extra challenges for you. With regard to the damage and missing boxes, while this was not the standard of quality we strive for, your claim was fully handled and you expressed in your own words that the settlement was fair. Additionally, our management advised they made multiple attempts to reach you by phone to discuss compensation for the split delivery, though it seems we were unable to connect. We remain committed to resolving this matter and welcome the opportunity to speak with you at your convenience to bring closure.

  We had a stellar experience with Corrigan Movers. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful & EXTREMELY helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better crew of movers. Thank you to: Mark, Austin, Paul, Tom & Reek & whomever I forgot! We moved from Kalamazoo to the Keweenaw in the UP, a 10 hr trip, which added stress for us. They relieved a lot of our stressors, by simply caring so much about our move & belongings! They were in communication with us the entire 6 day moving process, which was also wonderful. Also, thank you to Steve & Brad for estimating & planning our move so well. A+ Experience & we couldn't be happier with how above & beyond everyone went.

  If you would like your home to remain intact when movers deliver your things, do yourself a favor and do not use Corrigan Moving Systems. My husband just recently retired from 20+ yrs in the military and Corrigan was entrusted to deliver our property. The movers damaged our door and door frame at a house we had just bought and moved into only a week prior. We contacted them as soon as damage was noticed. We also presented before and after photos AND were told by the movers upon their departure we should/could contact them if we found any damage, telling us we needed to sign a paper before they could go. Obviously this was a lie as the paper they had us sign apparently absolved them of any and all damage . Clearly this is a disorganized, unreliable, and untrustworthy company - the movers even forgot all of their necessary paperwork at our home and the owner called us to scan and send it over to him. Unbelievable. After submitting our claim we were then ignored for 30+ days and only when I followed up did they tell us theyd be doing nothing. What a horrible way to treat a veteran! Im disgusted with this companys utter disregard for our home and their lack of accountability. Avoid this company at all costs.
