    Dealing with insurance companies and potential contractors in these summer months was a hair pulling experience. I could not get a fully truthful or caring response until I contacted Mr. Handyman. Annie, the company representative was a pure joy to speak with. She was knowledgeable and quick to respond to all of our needs. From start to finish, Carl (who is a perfectionist in the work he performs) explained what he would do and did it in a timely fashion. The Mr. Handyman team professionals went beyond what was asked of them. I absolutely intend to contact them again!

    Carpenter Carl W. did a great job adding hardware to and installing a door in my bathroom. He went above and beyond, catching an issue with the door’s fit and grabbing the extra tools he needed to address the issue. He cleaned up afterwards and left the house looking just like it had when he arrived, except now my bathroom had a working door! Highly recommend Carl!

    Thank you to everyone that helped us at Mr. Handyman. We needed to have some safety grab bars and railings installed in our house quickly. They were quick to reply, provided me with clear options and explanations to how their services work and quoted a very reasonable price. They got a technician to our house sooner than anyone else was able. Our technician Aaron was helpful, courteous, quick and clean. He offered some suggestions for things we hadn't thought of and went out of his way to handle those additional installations we hadn't anticipated. I can't thank them enough for making an extremely stressful moment as easy as possible. We will absolutely use them again.

    I need to share my unfortunate experience with Mr. ********************** so others will pay more attention than I did by asking more questions before approving the work and carefully review the estimate before signing on. I had one patio sliding door that was not opening/closing well after 20 years. The Mr. ********************** technician diagnosed the problem as worn out rollers that need to be replaced. He said he would order the parts and return in one week to complete the repair. I paid him $ ****** for the consultation fee and parts. He returned in one week with the two new rollers and replaced them and adjusted the door in about 20 minutes. The technician then handed me an invoice for an additional $385.00.I was surprised by the high amount and then I saw the invoice breakdown. They charge $400.00 per hour for labor! The quick repair ended up costing me $ ******. The final bill included the consultation fee, labor fee, service call fee, and materials. That also included a $40.00 off labor coupon and a $50.00 estimate rebate they subtracted for having them do the repair. And the bill was still $****** to replace two rollers on a sliding door!!!My suggestion is to do a better job than I did about finalizing the cost before you sign on the job approval line. I never guessed that this repair would cost so much and didn't ask enough questions. Don't assume anything with this company.

    ****, thank you for your feedback. I know that we discussed this with you on the phone but in fact this job was not 20 minutes. As a business, we had a great deal more invested in this project than what you described. This review also devalues the accumulated experience by our service technician and his efficiency on site. There was a lot more that took place beyond the hour that he worked on the door. We have never charged $400 per hour and we hope that current inflation rates don't take us to that any time soon. I agree that it is always a good idea to making sure you review and understand the contract before signing. We did ask you if there was something that we could do for you to ameliorate what you perceived to be a costly repair but you declined.

    I want to thank Mr. ********************** for truly providing Service! From initial contact, through quote process to work being completed. My tech was ***** who hit all the marks from arriving on time and being pleasant to deal with through completion of all the little nagging stuff that I wanted to have done. Great and reliable service - definitely the way to go and will use again.
