Our transmission warning light was going off so we took the car in to Clems on or about January 12. Diagnosis was internal transmission failure with burning of the transmission fluid.Clems charged us $4372.69 to rebuild our transmission. Car was returned to us Jan. 25th. January 30th the transmission warning light went off again. We returned it to Clems the same day. The owner looked at it and said the transmission was fine, and it was just a warning light that he could not turn off. He attempted to turn off the warning light himself, but he could not do it. We continued to drive the vehicle with the warning light as he advised. March 22nd the car would not shift. We had it towed to our dealership because we did not trust Clems after the vehicle had been there twice for the same issue. The diagnosis was an internal catastrophic failure of the transmission. The transmission now must be replaced at an additional cost to us of $8330.00. Our dealership is doing the repairs as it has been to Clems two times and the issue was not fixed until the vehicle sustained a complete failure of the transmission.
