    This was probably the worst service I have received from valvoline over the last 5 years of going here. I took my car in for an oil change and an air filter replacement on 3/15/2025. Came in with zero problems and a few hours have gone by and it is now Saturday 3/15/2025 evening evening when my car at this point had only sat until I needed to leave again and my car shut down and started smoking after only driving less the 15-20 minutes away from my home while on a merging ramp on the highway. Luckily I was able to pull into a safe place in fear for my safety, I got ahold of a mechanic and had him come and take a look at my car Monday night 3/17/2025 due to everything being closed on Sunday. He then told me I had no oil and suggested I get in contact with Valvoline and inform them of what was going on. On the morning of 3/18/2025 I called valvoline ( 2661 East grand river East Lansing MI 48824 ) and talked to the manager by the name of Joshua. He told me he would open an investigation and come out to check out my car around 11-11:30am, I said okay and I would be there as well. He and another store manager came to look at my car seen there was no oil put oil in my car and told me my car would be towed to a local mechanic shop. Some hours go by and I received two phone calls one when my car was picked up and one again when I was told that Valvoline was not going to responsible for the damage to my engine, My questions were not answered and when I asked Joshua to explain why I had an oil change on Saturday morning why I had no oil Saturday night and ever so rudely Joshua's response was "Well I'm not a mechanic Clarisa". I then asked for the number for where my car was and who I can talk to to get answers, I then did ask for corporates number for a district managers number he told me the number he called me on was the number, so I read the number back and he went quite and hung up on me. I'm am highly disappointed and expect something to be done about this ASAP!
