March 2024, repair on main water line to house, used this company through American Water Resources protection plan. Dug up lawn only to discover leak in basement. Fixed. 4 months, multiple calls til yard fixed. Leak detected again, same area 9/24. Filed claimed with ***. H&S closed after I asked for a different company to repair. I did not authorize or know claim closed. Waited for work to be completed. 12/24, still no word. Called again, found out claim closed. Filed again. They closed claim again. Got notice from water company, shut off if not fixed. 4/25. Finally came for work 4/18. I asked the worker to double check basement where original leak, before digging up yard. They refused. I immediately called AWR, while they were there. While on phone, they left. Claimed they tried to call me. Why wouldn't they just talk to me, since they were there? I did have multiple calls on phone, caller id "******** ******." Now assuming that was someone from their company, but had no way of knowing that. No contact in last three days.Initial Complaint

I have sewer pipe coverage for outdoors through American Water Resources (AWR) I had a problem with my basement backing up. I have had *** for over 2 years now. This is my 1st claim filed Oct 8th. 2024 they sent out ********************* (H&S) plumbing it is from "ultimate & company a family of companies." H&S came out the first day He stood on the top step of my basement there was approximately 2 inches of water in the back of the basement he said he does not go down there that has to be pumped out. I had it pumped out. He stated he was going to come back he never came back. I ended up calling *** they said that H&S had closed the claim. They reopen the claim & sent H&S back again they then said I had to pump the basement again and they would be back it was crazy trying to get H&S back they finally came back days later & they said they needed the basement pumped again it was like a half an inch of water down there so that was done H&S came back ran a snake down ************ left they said they would be back because they had to put a camera down there. They had come out about 4x after I hunted them down. They never came back so on Nov 2 I called AWR again and I was told H&S had closed the claim again. I was confused & I asked them how can they keep closing my claim they don't do anything? It doesn't take six times to come out to run a snake. They never came back on the camera now they're saying third party damage? How? What information did they use to make that assessment? The *** representative I spoke to he was stating there was nothing they could do once it's third party damage they do not do anything and it's not covered. So I asked him if I have had AWR for over two years and this is the first claim I've ever made how on earth is this third party damage? If I had I would have called AWR they would have sent their people out and their people would be the ones who did the third party damage Make it make sense!!! ****** ******* and sons owe me in September that's how long I have been waiting for them to take responsibility for tearing into my privacy fence they was working in the yard next door digging with a backhoe machine next thing five wood panels they brought and remind you ********** professional contractor s installed my fence 10.000.00 it cost me to have a lift time warranty for this product that ******* wanted to have the neighbor that' called this company to work in his yard fence my fence with 3.00 panels so ***** to them that's the damage in their head they cause I called the same installers for 5 panels to be repaired right with the warranty remaining ,****** dollars I have had to repair my own fence from a company that didn't have the decency to come and tell me and then take responsibility for the damages they caused and now they are running will not comply with American water resources that's one of the sewage line contractors that send out plumbing contractors the work on your sewage line s and pipes now how do we trust this company and look at the action of a plumbing contractor maliciously destroying my fence and trying to get away with it I need your help to address this please.Initial Complaint

I have the American water resources sewer line protection insurance on my home. I have filed two claims for an issue where ***************************** were dispatched. They charged me $2000 saying I needed a different trap for a camera inspection they knew would still not allow them to see any issue due to constant back up. Paid the $2000 where employee attempted to get me to pay him personally less at a later date to do the job with him and not the business. They came to do the sewer line camera and the technician was here all of 5-9minutes and said yes he seen a break 75ft out in yard and that he was submitting the paperwork for the line to be replaced and no further in home work was needed. Three days went past and ***************************** contacted me saying that now $1000 would be needed to do some footing work which isnt covered in my plan of course. I contacted American water resources and the notes ***************************** left said they were still unable to do camera inspection! The technician lied and it was all a plot to continually pay for different things that arent even broken in my home. It is now a stand still and Im constantly still havent sewer water back up into my home. This is unacceptable and the program takes advantage of low income people seeking help.Initial Complaint

Around the middle of March, I contacted the sewer protection plan to file a complaint and they sent ******* and Sons. When the plumber arrived, he determined that the blockage was inside the home and not covered by the home protection plan. I paid the Plumber cash to snake out ***************. It was cleared and he left. Within days a blockage reappeared. I contacted ******* through the sewer protection plan they made a appointment 5 days out and hung up ?? on me during my attempts to get prompt service. Without making any judgment on their technical efficiency, their customer service *****. I would not recommend this company to anyone.Initial Complaint

So ******* and Sons are contracted through American Water Resources to provide imsurance against sewer line and backup problems via the home. In the last 6 months or so i have made several claims and they have snaked my drain line and said its the city's problem. City's has put it back on me. So now they are telling me its my problem and if i want it fixed it will costs me *****. I asked why at first they tell me its city problem. But got no response. Also they continue to take money for an Service but dont provide. The last few claims i put in to request Service was denied. I also asked them to show me any type of paperwork for the fact they says its on me to substantiate their claims. They refused to give me any paperwork on anything. But will offer a link for financing to pay them *****
