We have over 100 transactions totaling $2,363.58 in unauthorized charges debited from our account by our merchant service company International Bancard (being bought by Heartland Payment System). Plus, records show a difference of $644 between authorized card sales and what was deposited into our account and also a difference of $4,133 for card sales that are not credited. The first unauthorized debit was on 6/1/21 which we notified International Bancard the same day and was told it would be credited. Then debits on 6/3/21, 6/8/21, 9/3/21, 9/15/21 & 10/15/21. We have many emails through the end of July saying we would receive credit but have not received credit. In August, we stopped receiving replies to our emails. On 10/15/21, we found out that International Bancard was purchased by Heartland - emails going to International Bancard were being forwarded to Heartland – but ours were going to spam. There was also a chargeback for $180.60 on 8/3 that we received the notification after the deadline to submit a dispute. I sent an email about this the day we received notice but the emails were going to spam so we were told it would be credited also. In all fairness, we just notified the IBC about not receiving credit for all sales on 10/27/21. (Due to the number of transactions, it took a lot of time to match sales to payments received.) We were told we would receive credit 11/3 - as of today, we have not received credit & the person handling this is no longer with IBC. We were told that all the $34.95 charges were due to PCI compliance but would be reversed because we had been trying to reach them since August regarding this. We have still been trying to get the PCI Compliance complete but are can’t get into their system because of the way it is set up. This has been going on since 10/29 - if the PCI Compliance is not done by 11/11, we will be hit again with over $1,000

We were forced to use International Bancard through a software provider, Phorest. When Phorest switched processors to Stripe in October 2023 International Bancard continued to charge us $19.95/month for one service that wasn't used and $16.90 for another service that wasn't used. In total we were charged $223.58. When we called them they investigated and verbalized that there would be an refund. However, when we didn't see a refund, we called back and management apparently denied the request. I would estimate this company made $10,000+ in service charges and credit card processing fees over the several years we were a customer. And then to get greedy over $223.58 is a pretty wild. I've never had a customer support experience that after-the-fact denied a request. Pretty uncommon (and shady) business practice.
