I took my 2011 Dodge Avenger into Michaels Auto on 3-24-21 to have him look at my car. I took it in for loss of power when driving at times ,my check engine light was on, and that Something was sticking and making a noise when I backed up. He called me a few hours after having my car and gave me an estimate of over ***** said there were a few things wrong with it. After speaking he negotiated a lesser price for a few less things added to his list to be repaired as I wasnt able to cover the other costs to be repaired. I picked my car up the following day on 3-25-21 pay for the services.When automatically leaving the parking lot my service engine light, my traction light, and my Abs light Automatically popped on Pressed on my breaks to stop and with my abs breaks its starts to grind and catch. So I called Michaels Auto right away and he asked me to return the following day at 10am when they reopened. Which I did he had a worker go out and hook the code machine up and he told me that a part to my abs breaks needed to be replaced and that he wouldnt charge me for the labor just the part. The part wouldnt be able to be in until the following week as this was a Saturday. I was frustrated I just spent $935.91 to have all these repairs and I get my car back and it has another issue wrong with it. I left I didnt have any more money to fix anything else. I sat on this for a few days and called them back that following Tuesday he returned my call that Wednesday and I told him my car is driving worse after I got it back than before I took it. He told me that my car is old and parts break everyday. I understand that but usually when I have my car worked on and a mechanic finds an issue or breaks a part they call you right away and fix the issue Not put it back together knowing its broken and tell you your car is fixed when that wasnt even the issue to begin with Now I have to take my car somewhere else to have it fixed when able Very Unsafe for my children and myself.
