      Had a car financed thru ALLY. missed 3 payments and made up those payments but they posted in my credit history late for more than 360 days.. Paid out the entire Loan and after a week they posted Dilenquent.Thank you for the business.

      I was notified about fraudulent activity Sunday morning at 7am. Called the fraud line (not the same as Ally 'customer service'), and confirmed 6 fraudulent charges. Got those cleared and the card 'locked'. At 8pm I got an email notification that another fraudulent charge went through. At 930pm on a Sunday my wait time was 1 hour and 20 minutes to report the fraudulent activity. I was bring to their attention that the fraud issue I spoke with someone about that morning was still occurring. Their solution was for them to allow me to 'dispute' the **** which is pretty insulting considering they we well aware of fraud charges within the past 24 hours. Their employees have to go through a long, absurd script asking questions like - did I have any idea who used the card, did I recognize the vendor, did I file a police report. No wonder customers are on hold for over an hour. An additional insult is their hold recording says over and over that customers are valuable and that they appreciated our 'patience' while being forced to wait on hold, lest Ally allow your account to be cleaned out, patience has nothing to do with it. They are clearly not allocating enough funding resources for hiring. If they were paying a living wage they would not be so short handed. Doesn't instill any confidence in the business planning abilities or their treatment of their employees. I am now awaiting the bank's decision on whether or not they believe I should pay the $144.66 fraudulent charge! I will be shopping for a credit union today and moving my checking account. I'm giving 2 stars since they did pick up on the fraud and notified me, removing 6 of the charges and freezing the card. But they ARE going to lose customers over their poor service and lack of business common sense, like taking care of their employees.

      1 star is too much for this company. Ally Financial, Inc, went from being a mediocre banking company to one that is a decade behind their competitors. Their customer service, though, is truly lacking, preferring to mostly either 1) lie to the customer or 2) be rude while not actually knowing what's going on. For example, on March 2, 2022, ********* stated that 'due to a GLITCH, instant transfers would now all be batched together at 7PM and deposited around then, so long as you deposited the money before 5PM, otherwise it would occur on the next business day.' It's now August 11, 2022, and there is no more talk of a 'glitch.' The reality is that Ally did something, and has made no effort to fix it, despite the fact that every bank and credit union I can think of is capable of running such transfers INSTANTLY. Their customer service is slow, uneducated, and often barely capable of speaking English, whether you utilize the 'chat' 'customer service' or the phone number. Their website and application are a shitshow that contains numerous issues and errors. The website goes down at random times of day, seemingly every day. Honestly, I cannot recommend this bank to anyone, and I will be leaving as soon as I find another institution and can get all my money out of this cesspool.

      I was in a car accident 2 weeks ago. Car was totaled last Thursday august 4. My insurance fax and made contact with the lender. I call the bank today to see where the hold up is and was informed they have not received nothing from insurance. My insurance fax the documents that were needed for the second time today and the bank wants to tell me from today it will take 5-7 business days when a week has passed already. Im careless at the moment and my insurance wont cut me a check until they receive a letter of guarantee from the lender. Which i highly believe the lender is dragging there feet while i still have a insurance and car payment i have to pay for on a car i cannot drive and havent been able to drive for 2 weeks now. Im beyond livid and want this processed done so i can move on and get another car. I think this is just ridiculous and i am not too happy with ally to where i will not finance through them again.

      Ally financial is the worst company that I have ever had a loan with. My vehicle was totaled. The insurance paid for the vehicle. Ally said they didn't receive the money. The insurance company said they did. Ally couldn't tell either myself or the insurance company what account the money went to. They turned me into collections. I will never get a loan with them again. Their customer service doesn't speak very good English and you can barely hear them.

      I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Don't go there people. This is a scam. I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy. The government has to close this company. They only abuse their customers and use them like puppets. Stay far away from Ally Financing. They put pass due payments on me even if I always pay on time. This is the worst bank to ever exist.

      If I could give no stars I would. My husband and I financed a car with ********** The car was totalled, they still placed on our credit report that we owed $1633. When I questioned the balance they told me and sent me a letter expressing that we didn't owe anything. Closed the account but the BALANCE of $1633 remains on our credit report, and yes we had ************** I have repeatedly requested for them to remove the balance and they still have not.
