      ********* is one of the most horrible banks. I have several different accounts with them. I have excellent credit and applied for a car loan though them and the dealership said they kept giving different reasons why Ally couldnt complete my loan. I addressed the first issue they gave me. Then, Ally created any other issue. I called and talked to about 12 different employees, supervisors, the escalation team, and on for almost two hours. One even hung up the phone on me in the processing center. Never, never, ever use ********* for anything! Dont be fooled into thinking that creating a relationship and opening many accounts will make a difference. Their CEO, ***, and COO need to be fired and their board of directors need to start over with different leadership that will create a customer helpful atmosphere and who will fire the many managers, escalation members, and employees that need to be fired to create a better culture than the ones the current failing leadership has created.

      Will NOT send title to state so I can register car. Have been trying for 3 years!!! Say they don't do that, say they don't receive emails, say that I've never called and have only made one payment out of 85. Have had the car for 5+ years and made every single payment. Their so called customer service agent was beyond rude and hung up on me when I asked to speak to her manager. This company has the worst customer service I've ever received and could care less if I can drive my car legally.

      Faulty vehicle sold ******* above fair market price for a vehicle with serious mechanical problems. the interest rate was predatory. no clear line of communication to reconcile consumers problems. new collection officers every month. even after the vehicle was returned to the car lot Ally did not instruct consumer on proper return policies. Alot of time wasted and interest and fees added to the consumer debt. Not a positive resolution. They took advantage of a 65 year old widowed senior citizen

Review **************************************************Payoff Experience I paid off my Ally Financial auto loan on April 29, 2025, six years early, with no missed or late payments the entire time.After payoff, I was owed a refund for an overpayment. I was told Ally mailed the checks to my residential address on May 24 and May 25, 2025, but I never received them. I contacted customer service and requested that the checks be reissued and sent to my P.O. Box instead. They told me I had to wait 10 days.When I called back after the 10-day period, I was told the checks had been re-sent to my P.O. Box. But in reality, the original checks had already been sent to my P.O. Boxnot my residential address, as they originally claimed. Ally then canceled those checks, causing them to bounce and overdraw my account by ********* I asked why the checks were canceledespecially since they were never sent to the residential address like Ally claimedI was given no clear explanation. This entire experience was confusing, poorly handled, and unacceptable, especially after maintaining a perfect payment record and paying off the loan years early.This situation shows a serious lack of accountability and communication on Allys part. I would caution anyone considering financing through themthings might go smoothly during the loan, but issues after payoff can quickly become a nightmare.

      Important Consumer Warning: A Personal Concern Regarding Ally Financial I feel deeply compelled to share my experience with Ally Financial in the hope of helping others avoid the unnecessary stress and disappointment Ive endured. If youre considering financing a vehicle, I strongly urge you to be cautious and think twice before choosing Ally as your financial provider.Throughout my experience, I was promised clarity, support, and consistency. Unfortunately, what I received was the exact oppositeconflicting information, unkept promises, and a frustrating lack of accountability. Each time I spoke with someone new, I was given different answers, and the support I was told I could rely on never came through.This is not just about a company falling shortits about peoples lives being impacted. We, as loyal and hardworking customers, deserve to work with institutions that offer ****** peace of mind, and genuine help. Ally Financial has caused me immense stress, and I wouldnt wish this experience on anyone else.Please protect yourself and your loved ones. Share this with others and encourage them to explore financial partners who honor their word, treat customers with respect, and offer real support when it's needed most.We, the people, have a voice.       I was a cosigner on a loan from Ally Financial for 6 years. Back in 2019, a double payment was made. (A payment that was intended for the next month was credited as a principle payment for the previous month.) That resulted in 8 late payments, since it took 8 months for me to realize that they were marking every payment after that as late. When I called them to address the situation, they corrected it in their system, but the credit report remained in a negative status.For the final payment to satisfy the loan, they added late fees for those 8 months that they were supposedly late. The contract payment was paid, but the late fees were paid after they had reported them as another late payment. The contracted final payment was paid on full and on time, but the late fees were technically after the due date.I spoke with Ally Financial, and they initially told me that they didn't understand why it was reported as a 30-day late to the credit bureaus. They said that they would put it on file and investigate it. I submitted a dispute with the credit bureaus, and Ally Financial refused to any of their reporting. I called Ally Financial directly, and they hung up on me after lying to me. I asked them how an auto-payment was late, and they told me that she was never on automatic billing. I was actually listening to the phone call when she had set up auto-billing, and I told the representative from Ally Financial that fact. He then changed his story to admit that she was on automatic billing.I'm disgusted by their lack of customer service. I'm disgusted by their lies. I'm disgusted by their lack of morality. I will never do business with Ally Financial again, and I have a very good credit score. My credit score would be excellent if Ally Financial had better software and customer service.

      Do not get a credit card with Ally Financial. They will require a account and routing number but will not take the payment out for 14 days. Other Cedit companystaje it out in 48 hours. Than charge you a fee if the money is not in there. Send a money order they charge you a late fee because of the mail and you can only make a payment with a debt card if your account is in collections. This is fraud and they are ruining my credit. Do not do business with them.

      I was told they were closing my bank account after a random audit. Refused to tell me a reason due to confidentiality. I understand they can do anything, but the lack of transparency is unprofessional and unacceptable.

      I paid a full payment of 774 on May 14 for a note due on April 18. I reported that my husband had to change his account information. I was told as long as the note was made by May 17th this would be no impact to my credit since it was under 30 days due. They reported negative to my credit report as if I had made a partial payment. My score dropped 52 points in one day. I have not had a blemish to my excellent payment history in at minimum 15 years. I take my good standing seriously. It's such a headache to deal with this online company.

      Refused to provide a lease payoff statement and have no ability to send any digital documents at all. Their call center is outsourced and cannot connect with any of the departments that actually do things. They process your request and say it is out of their control to do anything else. There is no escalation process for issues either. As a consumer you are left at their mercy and out of luck financially. Never do business with this company.
