      Incident Report July 27th, 2025 Approx 930am Company in question:A1 Towing and Recovery *********************************************************************************************************** ************ My vehicle was towed July 25, 2025 by A1 Towing and Recovery. 2 days later, I called the tow company in question. Keep in mind, the website states that this company is open 24/7 for business. I called at approximately 9:30 am on Sunday July 27th, 2025 with the intention of paying what was owed that day and retrieving my vehicle. Upon the owner answering the phone and saying hello, I attempted to explain who I was and the vehicle in question. He cut me off rudely and told me, "Yeah, not today." I then attempted to respond and ask him if there was any way I could pay and get the car that day. He immediately began screaming and swearing at me, saying things like, "What are you f****** stupid?", "I told you not f****** today you moron!". I then told him, "I dont understand, why are you speaking to me like this?". He responded with, "Listen smartass, if youve got a problem feel free to come down and I'll show you a real f****** problem, bitch!" and hung up on me. After this incident I've tried to call another time and speak to someone else but he is the sole owner. I'm afraid that if I had gone to pick up my vehicle there may have been a physical altercation, which he would have started with me. After researching the tow company online, as well as speaking to people I know, they all say the same thing about A1 Towing and Recovery. He is known for aggressive, rude and threatening behavior. The Better Business Bureau already has 3 complaints against the company aggressive behavior with customers that had their vehicles towed by him.Complainant,****** ********** **************************** ************ **************************

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I certified letter with a $200 offer explaining the entire situation to him and offering to resolve it but he has neglected to acknowledge my offer.

      A-1 Towing towed my car after a drunk driver hit my vehicle. I have been working with State Farm to get my car released from A-1 Towing so that I can get it into the shop to get fixed. So I had to go to A-1 Towing in person to sign some documents to get my car released. This man was extremely rude, aggressive, and threatened to assault me, but I was still able to get the documents signed to get my vehicle released.When State Farm sent their third party towing company to pick up my vehicle from A-1 Towing, the owner wouldnt release my vehicle because he almost got into a fight with the third party towing company. Now I am afraid that he is going to make this extremely difficult to get my car back. If you read his reviews on Yelp and ********* youll see this is a consistent pattern of his. I dont want to deal with this man anymore and just want my car back.
