On 8/24/24, we visited Royal Anchor Beach Resort's Tiki Bar. We arrived around 2:18 PM. My husband entered the ******** directly, while I brought my teenage children to the beach and within 10 minutes, met my husband at the ********. Approximately 10 minutes after our arrival, at 2:28 PM, the tow truck company was called. The boot was placed on our vehicle at 2:30 PM, just 12 minutes after our arrival. During this entire time, both my husband and I were at the Tiki Bar as paying customers.Key points:We were actively patronizing the Tiki Bar when the tow company was called and the boot applied. The boot was placed extremely quickly after our arrival, giving us no reasonable opportunity to relocate our vehicle if there were parking restrictions. The posted sign states ****************************** Bar Guests Only" - which we *********** card transactions prove our patronage during this time. We've made multiple attempts to resolve this issue:8/26: Called to speak with a manager, told to call back.8/27: Met with **** (manager) in person, provided transaction evidence.8/29: Called for follow-up, promised a callback; did not receive a call back. 8/30: Met **** again in person, told owners were unwilling to act.We believe the boot was entirely unjustified given our immediate and active patronage. Evidence includes:Credit card transactions from the Tiki Bar Text messages with the tow company driver with times Detailed timeline of events and follow-up attempts Desired Resolution:We respectfully request full reimbursement of the $250 fee paid to remove the boot. This resolution would address the unwarranted and ***** action taken while we were customers of your establishment. We're open to discussing this matter. We paid the tow truck company and not Royal Anchor directly. The employee of Royal Anchor called the *****************.

Please see attached signed letter which states the following and includes pictures

I stand firm on my decision to have ******* B's Towing & Recovery apply a parking-boot to ***** ***** vehicle on August 241, 2024. It was my original intention to tow her vehicle out of our parking lot; however, the tow-truck did not have enough physical space to complete the maneuver and capture her vehicle. Even though Ms. *** was a patron of our tiki-bar at some point during that day, her choice to park in our lot and leave the property to visit other areas of town/private areas of our beach and not return until two hours after our tiki-bar & parking had closed caused financial harm to our business. She did this after driving by around 6 signs informing her of our policy.
On August 24th a guest brought to my attention that they saw a party of five park in our parking lot and then proceed to leave the premises. Our parking policy is posted all over and is well known, so it's not unusual for a longtime customer to raise suspicion such as that. The customer's concern was quickly
reviewed and confirmed on camera. I will include a screenshot of that finding. Having no way to reach Ms. *** to inform her that she was illegally parked, the tow company was promptly called.
At some point during the day Ms. *** did enter our public tiki-bar and purchase drinks, however this does not grant her, or anyone access to use our free parking for anything but patronizing the tiki bar which in our in-person conversations she pled ignorance and admitted to violating. Unfortunately,
ignorance has no place in this matter, and her decision caused financial harm to our business by not allowing other customers to park and patronize our public tiki-bar. Finally, Ms. *** and her family did not return to their vehicle until 9pm, which is two hours after the tiki-bar was closed. Around 9pm is when she contacted the tow company. I will provide a screenshot of this. To close this matter out, we are a seasonal business located on a prime section of a beach where parking is extremely limited and thus very important to our operations. When we have hard evidence that our parking lot is being misused, it requires us to act regardless of the intent of the trespasser.

Ms. *** is seeking any compensation for her action, I would advise her to speak with ******* B's Towing
      and Recovery *************).
