    Mechanic was hired to Replace the engine in my vehicle. Upon 6 months of waiting for the mechanic to finish, I found out that he has damaged my engine beyond repair/operating condition and have now had to buy an entirely new engine to fix my vehicle. Mechanic broke hundred upon hundreds of dollars worth of parts, and I know have to spend over 6000 dollars to fix his mistakes.

    Yes, my name is ****** Maxfield and I am the owner operator of Maxfield mobile mechanic. I have a complete number of ******** was filed on 8-6-2025 by ******* *****. After reviewing the complaint, there is a lot of misinformation as long as incorrect information that was In there in his statement that he said that it was 6 months of waiting for the mechanic to finish that was actually incorrect due to the part that I had not heard from him in that 6 month period. There was also a discrepancy as far as him stating that he hired me to replace the engine in his vehicle, which is also incorrect, I was only hired to rebuild the engine and after some disagreements, you know, back and forth between him and myself, I was basically just asked to rebuild the engine because he could not financially afford to replace the entire engine, which he was originally quoted for, which is why it took 6 months for him to actually get back to me as far as to what he was going to do. I have notified my law office about the part where he wants the $6,000. To fix the mistake, I was told by my law office to respond with the effect that he was fully aware in text messages that I am not responsible for any damage or defects because he wanted a cash sale, he did not want record of any receipts, he did not want any service records that proved that the work was done. Or anything of that nature. And as far as I am concerned, this complaint is invalid and it not even nowhere near correct. He is just upset because he can not get a lawsuit against me due to the fact that he did not get the proper documentation.     The Buisness owner ****** is Lying, as I communicated constantly with him throughout the 6 month time period ****** had my car. Multiple times through this process he claimed to be almost done rebuilding the engine and then would put it off more time because he had broken more parts and pieces. Rebuilding the engine was the original stated agreement between us. I did not ask him to replace the engine, very clearly and specifically said rebuild the engine. As it is, the engine was not rebuilt, nor was it rebuilt properly, and due to these reasons I have now had to replace the engine because more parts were broken and unaccounted for then originally when dropped off. The original engine in the car would have NEVER RAN AGAIN due to improper mechanical work and no knowledge of how to perform the intended work. I can only assume Mr.Maxfield planned to give me the car back non running and undriveable claiming he didnt know what was wrong with it when he knew full well multiple parts and pieces were missing/broken due to his ignorance. 

     Paid ****** 1000 dollars in cash, and was planning to pay the rest of the bill online through his mobile portal for payments. Retained receipts for all of the parts and equipment bought, as well as asking Mr.Maxfield for copies of receipts when finished. 

    If Mr.Maxfield will not come good for this I will pursue legal action against him and his Buisness for the cost of my new engine and install, plus all the previously obtained parts and paid for work by his Buisness.
