Incompetent Billing Staff. I strongly suggest you stay away unless youre planning on paying cash and do not care about having insurance companies billed on time and correctly to prevent surprise bills two years latter! If you want a headache and a dentist that feels its not his or his staff's job to accurately file claims with your insurance company(ies) than this is your guy! The dentist outright stated that "its not his job to file with insurance companies"; It may not be his job, but it is in his billing department's role.Heres what happened: This dentist office failed to properly file claim(s) for one family member (one out of four) with our two insurance companies resulting in an outstanding balance for services rendered over two years ago! Of course, they wanted immediate payment, or they would not allow my "one" dependent family member to keep their appointment, but my other family members could keep their appointments $$ (of course). Within 10 minutes of contacting my insurance companies I discovered 1st: The dentist filed with the wrong insurance company. 2nd: Upon me calling the "wrong" insurance they noted directing the dentist to resubmit with other insurances. 3rd: When dentist did submitting to correct insurances (for the other three family members) nearly all the charge codes were rejected and had to be resubmitted (this should have been our first Red Flag). Had I only had "one" minor aged dependent, I could understand how this may have happened (having no reference), but they had all my other family members information on file to just ************ from for the same Date-of-Service and Service Types?!? What's worse is I could have fixed this issue for the "one" child by making sure that this childs account matched the rest of the family (that they had already billed and had on file), but then they said it wasnt their job and they refused to help us in any way, and it is too late to recoup the money from the insurance company.
