    My husband, *****************, and I each purchased a year membership to Orange Circuit Fitness in ********* *****. His membership was purchased on 10/27/2023 and my membership was purchased on 11/02/2023. Unbeknownst to us the gym owner was in litigation at that time due to having not paid their rent. On November 8th I arrived to the gym to a sign that they would be closing forever that day and to contact the manager ********* with any concerns. When I checked my bank account they had just deposited my check. So they knew they were closing and still deposited my check. Extremely shady! I wrote to the manager over the weekend and let them know that due to the very short period of time from when they sold us our memberships to the day they closed we expected a full refund and that we expected it to be sent to us within in a week. The email response back was very unprofessional and didn't give us any confirmation that we would be refunded.

    You would not find ****** as a member as my name is not ******.  My name is *****-*****************.  My maiden name was *****-***********************.  I have have been attending the gym for 10 years.  My last name *** not have been updated in the account even though I had requested that.  Regardless my name is ******************* not ****** and they cashed my check for the membership so I should be refunded.

    **** membership was for a year.  The lady who processed it said she didnt have a way to make the receipt show a year and so processed it on the receipt as two months.  She then hand wrote 1 year membership on it.  Regardless even if it was for two months he should still be refunded the amount paid as he was not able to use the membership due to the gym closing.

    We expect a full refund for both payments.

    I just paid my membership of ****** and a service fee of $38.00 in The middle of September, the gym abruptly closed today with no warning. There was a note on the door stating today November 8th at 8:00 pm we are permanently closed.I want a full refund. My membership is for 18 months, and after a month and a half they close because the owner owes $64,000 in rent which is in court now.They owned World gym in ******** and closed their doors the exact same way with a note on the door stating they are permanently closed.

    Unfortunately yes we did have to close. Due to a leasing issue. I have already spoke to June three times. All paid in full members will be getting the pro rated amount of unused time back. I also informed her that it will take me a little while to get all members information together the amounts owed locations to send them to. She is not the only person so it will take me a little time to get everything together. But she will be getting a refund and she does know this. We will not be giving anyone a full refund. It will be a full amount for the remaining unused time. The $38 fee paid were from back unpaid service fees so those will not be refunded.

    I did speak to *********. She did say she would give me a prorated amount but $19 service fee was for this year along with the $249.00 which should also be included. After paying for my membership for 18 months in advance , the gym abruptly closed on November 8th. 
    A lot of members quit years ago and cancelled their membership and are still being charged years later.

    I do not trust this gym. I can forward my address and a bank check can be sent to my address as soon as possible. I paid $268 for the 18 months plus a ************************************************************************** a drawing. After subtracting the prorate of ***** for the month of October I would like a check in the amount of $253.12. My membership was supposed to include tanning and I couldnt use that amenity because the tanning beds are so old and the bulbs havent been changed in 5 years! I purchased a membership at suntan city. Also there hasnt been any hot water at the gym for months. There isnt any air conditioning all summer and no heat in the winter. November 6th they closed the gym at 5:00 pm because there was t any propane and said they would be closed on Tuesday as well. Thursday when I returned to the gym it was the final day and it was freezing in there. 
    I have seen members not get their money refunded and would like mine in a timely manner.

    After visiting the gym location and being told I couldn't cancel there, I sent out a certified letter with a cancellation request and have still been continued to be charged.Even after calling the business again they've been unhelpful in canceling the membership and stopping the charges.

    This gym makes it impossible for you to cancel your membership. I have tried multiple times to no avail. I recently changed my debt card and now they are sending me collection notices and Im getting constant phone calls. I told them multiple times that I want to cancel my membership. I have not used the gym dice before COVID almost 2 years ago. Now Im looking at a bill of $300 for a gym I havent used in years??

    I am not sure when the last time you have tried to speak to some one. But I havent heard from you since I took over in may. But in your contact it explains how to cancel. You have to write a letter to P.O. Box 152 **************** or drop it off at your gym location. Cancellation am not be done over the phone. I will put your cancellation through Monday morning.

    Orange Circuit Fitness continues to charge my account for all sorts of charges. I submitted a withdrawal form with them over two years ago. I have called them several times to complain and they never return my calls nor fix the issue.My bank has stopped payments and will seek resolution with all other payments back to the first of the year. Apparently this is an OCF common practice, so I want it publicly known.

    Your account was canceled. But you had an open account for ************************* that was still open and  active. That is the reason you where still getting charged. You would have had to close both accounts. I have done so today.

    I signed up for a membership 4/19/23 first payment due of 45$ on 5/29/23.... they were closed and I was able to go 3 times with the "free starting membership", then tried to charge me ***** on 5/10/23 fraudenly, claiming it was a new fee for overnight hours that I never agreed to. I hadnt got a scan card or anything because the computers didnt work. I called 5/10 and 5/11 and they were extremely rude, claimed a manager would call back, and that never happened. I sent notice 5/11, /15, and again today 5/20 that I am NOT INTERESTED in a membership with such horrible service and fraudulent fees that Im not even allowed to use because they have been closed 90% of the time when I tried to even begin to go....These people are rediculous, unprofessional, thieving, a******* Its a **** shame.They even took down their ******** page because literally every member posted ****** off on it.

    Update: it is 7/6/23 now. This company previously agreed to drop fraudulent charges, but are still sending continued charges to a collection agency for payment. Currently demanding ******, for a service I don't have. These people are psychotic. Literally.. I have actual proof they dropped and canceled, and they continue.     Joined in February 2023. Information was entered incorrectly. Been trying to fix the error since March 1. Manager does not return calls. Other employees are unable to fix issue. Now I get calls daily and letters weekly from their debt collectors. I'm losing patience and getting mad.

    While the manager has cleared the existing balance, it should have never accrued. I had canceled my membership prior. The current issue is that I am STILL receiving calls from the collection agency! All of this because of a simple clerical error. The bill should have been send to my insurance/silver sneakers. I believe there may have been a typo on the account number. When the calls and letters from Twin Oaks, on behalf of Orange Circuit, stop, then I will be satisfied with the resolution of this issue.

    the latest phone call from your collection agency came in last night. A few hours after you and I spoke on the phone. I called the gym after the collection agency called me and I left a message for you to call me.

    I signed up for a $5 trial and cancelled my membership. Approximately 2 months later I have reviewed a bill from a debt collector after not being contacted by orange circuit fitness. I do not want a debt reported to collections or credit bureaus.

    I have made multiples attempts to cancel my membership - via phone and email. Unable to reach a manager or even get an email response that they received my request. I continue to be charged bimonthly,of varying amounts.When I initially signed up with Planet Fitness in 2012, my monthly membership fee was automatically withdrawn from my checking account. Since OCF took over and have access to this information, they continue to utilize the auto withdrawal. The only way it seems I can stop them from stealing from me is to close this bank account, which seems like an unreasonable action to have to take since I have no financial obligation to this company. I simply want to stop the monthly theft and for this company to be held accountable for unethical practices.
