      I engaged the services for a para legal to assist me with my appeals and a supplemental statement with a deadline in 7 days. I was told it doulc be assigned to a para legal for 10 hours research and was assured they could access the files from court as I had no computer of scannef or printef and just my cell phone for text and emails. They said once the red was paid if $1009 they could assign the paralegal . I paid the $1000 with that representative. I was assigned a para legal shi tried to access the court files and could not. I had to overnight my case or find a way to electronically send it , which was very frustrating and I told them they represented they could access. I found a way to get the files to the para legal on Tuesday and para legal confirmed receipt and went over my statementz , which I explained I wanted assistance doing a supplemental statement. Para legal said she would get started on research and case law and grt it to me for Friday so I coulc meet my Mondah deadlune. There was no further communication from the para legal. Nothing on Wednesday , Thursday if Friday. I had called and sent text messages and Clio text messages on their portal saying I need an update. I called to say that I wanted a full refund and was told my job was terminated on Thursday. I said I have been calling and texting for an update and have not heard a thing with my deadline coming up. I said I wanted a full refund if they terminated the job and the para legal would not communicate with me. I claimed the service was a scam and unprofessional and the treatment of the customer to leave me hanging when I expected the finished product with research completed by Friday and did not get anything. I requested a refund and they said to stop communicating and send files on Saturday for research that I did not speak to the para legal about for lack of communication and the files were useless to me without discussion with para legal. This is unacceptable

      Ms. ****:  All work has stopped on your case for reasons set forth in the email of Dan M***** of the 7th.  Please stop all contact with Ms. S*****.  Text of email set forth below.

      Ms. ***** **** [****** *********]:

      For the reasons set forth, inter alia, below, please be advised and take notice that we are herewith terminating our business relationship with you and directing our Paralegal, Karen S*****, to cease all further work on your behalf.

      Your matter originally came to us as a request for assistance in the finalization of a Supplement to an Appellate Brief you have written in connection with an Appeal filed in Rhode Island.  The matter took on some urgency upon your advisement that there was a required filing deadline of Monday, March 11, 2024.

      We were thereafter informed that you do not have computer access and cannot, therefore, upload the necessary documentation to or through your Clio Client Portal.  As you were certainly aware, IPS is a virtual paralegal provider and uses & relies upon computers, and specifically here, the Clio

       Case Management System we use, to deal with our clients and address their issues.  Your lack of computer access has seriously jeopardized our ability to respond to your needs in a timely fashion.

                With all due respect, it would appear clear that your dealings with our company have been disingenuous from the start, commencing with the use of an alias in signing our acknowledgments and agreements [your true name being ****** ********* and not ***** **** as originally stated].  It is also clear that your initial request that we provide case law for insertion into your self-prepared Supplementary Statement for the court also turned out to be misleading, as you subsequently demanded that we draft and write that statement for you.  Necessary documents were parsed out to our paralegal in sporadic fashion and yet were never complete. We cannot and will not perform services that go beyond the paralegal nature for which our services were contracted.

                For these reasons we have decided that we can no longer perform services on your behalf and are hereby terminating our relationship.  We will return your monies paid on deposit, minus the costs for the reasonable time Karen S***** has spent in her futile attempt to help you.  We wish you the best of luck in your dealings on this matter in the future.
      ==========

      On April 19, 2023, I hired Intrepid Paralegal Solutions to prepare some legal documents for my child support case. I initially spoke with the owner, Daniel M****** who assured me that they could not only prepare the necessary documents , but also offer me legal advice. I thought that I was getting a good deal along with the support of an attorney. I later learned that nothing I was told was factual and after I paid my money , the responsiveness was almost non existent. This companies business practices are unethical and illegal and they did nothing but take my money. When I made the initial request for a refund , they denied my request however, they started billing phone calls against my credit balance in an attempt to use up the remaining funds. am requesting a FULL refund, as Intrepid failed to properly complete the court forms and when the court kicked them back for being incomplete, they blamed the clerks. This was nothing but a waste of time and money and I now have to hire a REAL attorney to get this matter resolved legally and competently.

      Ms. ********** came to our firm, ( after sixteen years of not taking any action) pursuing a child support enforcement issue against her childs father who she alleged had not made payments to her other than in cash. Our assigned team reviewed her matter and performed extensive work product and efforts including direct calls and letters to the Texas authorities that would not respond to the various request which were procedural in nature. We did not charge for considerable time speaking with Ms. **********'s boyfriend who is an attorney in a very different area of the law and we provided him with extensive detail as to the Texas authorities' and their failure to provide the needed documentation despite our many efforts (with Ms. **********'s authorization). At no point in time did we represent any offer of "legal advise" and for Ms. ********** to assert that is just plain dishonest, ( all disclaimers were signed and acknowledged by Ms. **********). This is an attempt to smear our good name as this person is unhappy with the courts action and wants to take out her anger on someone and she chose us. It is clear from her actions that her only intent is to cause us harm. Vindictive and false and we are pursuing these actions legally and will obtain a judgement against Ms. **********. The above was her fraudulent post to ****** where we enjoyed a perfect record of excellence with our clients as we strive everyday to provide extraordinary service and that is what this disgruntled and vengeful person received despite her unfounded comments and complaints. See the following partial transcript of Ms. ********** confirming she received and had the benefit of our work product. Just fraud and poor behavior for her to complain:

      This is the transcript from our text service platform: ( TC= ****** **********)

      **BBB redacted text message thread**

      We provided excellent service and exceeded value. We will be pursuing this client for her slander and defamation of our firm..

      Agreement with D. M***** (president owner manager), and D. T****** (alleged Certified Paralegal) of Intrepid Paralegal Solutions Inc. / IIC; to prepare Appellate Brief. I was shocked in my first effort to review the Appellate Brief; because D. T****** was clearly trying to sabotage my effort to win the Appeal and figured that I would not know the difference. Thereafter D. T****** commented on the strength of my knowledge; but also threaten that I was lucky because complaining could mean that the Appeal Brief would not get finished. On second effort D. T****** failed to submit a finished document that i could use and lacked minimum standard that would allow me to even file the document. (You must show the Appeal Court where in the Record the "error" occur or where, whatever your statement applies occurred.) I complained a second time to D. M***** . D. T****** reminded me of what happens when you complain. Further; D. T****** alleged his mother died and he did not have time. D. M***** refused to give a refund and stated "a counsel" reviewed the work; and it was done in excellent fashion. (details attached). I struggled to work on the Appeal Brief until I could afford to find someone to assist me (filed September 26, 2022).

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/24) */ Ms. **** contacted our firm on 1/9/2022 @ 3:47 pm est. via our automated intake system. Upon follow up phone contact with Ms. **** that same day 1/10/2022 at 4:17 pm, Ms. **** requested us to produce several documents pursuant to a foreclosure action against her in a Florida court. Ms. **** requested special financial accommodations and presented facts that we learned were false later as to her financial situation which was not as she had represented. Our paralegal produced all requested documents as per legal standards. We advised Ms.**** we cannot provide legal advise on a number of occasions as that would be against the law. We discounted our services based on the false representations and we also provided Ms. **** with a payment plan over a several month period. Ms. **** received many many more hours of phone consultation and service than we billed for in this project and we honored our payment plan and our initial price as she represented she had just had a brain injury and was financially destitute. Mr. T****** our paralegal finished her document request even though she gave him a terrible time when his mother died and tried to request a refund when he was not available for a day. Our investigation yielded she owns several business interest and real property other than the property in question. We refute this complaint as fraudulent, manipulative and simply sour grapes as the court has not seen things the way Ms. **** wants them to, and no amount of additional filings will change that. We make and we made no representation as to the outcome of her matter or any clients matter as we are unable to do so. We maintain that we provided excellent service, at a discount and with a payment plan. On several occasions Ms. **** indicated she was pleased with our work. This matter has been closed for almost a year in our system and then a complaint is filed when the court saw through the attempts to abdicate responsibility for payment of her mortgage and now Ms. **** is trying to claim falsely that somehow it is our fault and ask for a refund? We strenuously deny any validity of the claim put forth by Ms. ****. We have attached complete records with all communications and work product for use in the review of this claim. It is our hope that Ms. **** will not persist further in this ruse. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2023/01/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Mr. M***** has created smoke n mirrors; a false narrative response to deflect the substandard sloppy unprofessional work of the alleged certified paralegal Mr. T******; who tried to sabotage my appeal brief. After my first review of Mr. T******s work; Mr. T****** alleged he would make corrections and specifically place the information from the Record On Appeal in the corrected Appeal Brief. However; he intentionally failed to do so because I complained about his work. There were other things Mr. T****** failed to do which is embarrassing. It clearly show that he lacked the experience to handle such a matter. One example is failing to raise issues of law or not properly raising issues of error that the Appeal Court would handle or have jurisdiction to respond. Look at page 8 & 9 on the alleged Appeal Brief that he submitted to me. First he placed the "Issues on Appeal' in the wrong section. (Should have been in the Table Of Contents to show the Appeal Court exactly what page to find each separate argument). And then what he is stating is ludicrous for an alleged "certified" paralegal. In pertinent parts he writes: The three issues of error the Appellant wishes to address are as follows: 1. ..........................; There are discrepancies in the figures and the billable hour rate noted does not reflect the amount listed. 2. The "deferred principal" amount of $20,000 ....................., does not take into account previously paid amounts, including multiple payments of $20,000. The Appellant seeks clarification of this. 3. The Appellant notes being denied .........., who blocked the Appellant's Motion to depose witnesses in the case. This also entails some misrepresentation on the part of the Appellant's attorney at the time, whom the Appellant dismissed from service as a result. Two other reasons related to this are as follow: a. An Allonge attached to the Note at a later point denotes a change in the Plaintiff name from ***************** (now defunct due to a merger with ***********) to ****************. This issue will be explored further in the Argument section. b. The absence of a face amount of the Mortgage, which the Appellant believes led to an arbitrary amount of $174,000 which did not match the record. These represent the primary and identifiable issues of error, and other issues that may have a possibility for identification will be added and amended as needed. The writing above is so unfair to me as proper guidelines on how to prepare the Appeal Brief are in the rules and pro se Handbook for reference. Even if Mr. T****** would have corrected the alleged Appeal Brief with the Record On Appeal I would have been happy but Intrepid Paralegal Solutions was intent to sabotage my Appeal Brief; and instead of correcting and finishing the horrible document he became belligerent; retaliated; and refused to make the corrections forcing me with my health conditions to struggle six months until I finally submitted it September 26, 2022 to the Florida Appeal Court. Contrary to the false statements of Mr. M*****; my Appeal Brief is filed and awaiting my Reply Brief. I will never consider asking for their help on any thing. Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2023/01/13) */ It is always our desire for every client to recieve and appreciate the value we offer. Ms. **** has continously ignored the parameters of our agreement and still persist that she has not recived value even after a discount in cost, a payment plan and many revisions free of charge. The abilities and qualifications of David T****** our paralegal are not only above standards they are indeed exceptional and the docuemnt prepared for Ms. **** was detailed and extensive as well as valid and appropriate exactly as specified by this client. We are not attorneys and we have communicated that many times to Ms. **** which precludes us from offering any legal advise. Therefore what was created for her case was exactly what she directed Mr. T****** to produce and what was used in this matter. The issue is Ms. **** has not obtained the results she wants. If this client wants to pay for mediation we would participate in hopes that she might appreciate the extensive and generous accommodations made to her and for her particular circumstances. We are unable to go any further with this matter.

      I had a document to be done by Intrepid Paralegal Solutions Inc. for $275 agreed amount. It was not done correctly & had to be corrected. This was the business error., They omitted items the court needed & I had given him this information from the beginning. Their original first document submitted to the court was incomplete and rejected by the court. I spoke to the Paralegal *********** who completed the first document & she admitted she omitted the information. her information PH# 630-******** email: ***********@yahoo.com Danny M*****, President of the company said he would correct it for another $300. He also sent a letter to me to cease & decease & not to call the office any longer only to communicate by email or he would take legal action against me. Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/05/19) */ ***Document Attached*** Mr. ***** has been a consistent problem to our firm. We informed him we are not attorneys and he continues to try to get us to advise him legally. We performed the work he requested that we do and then the court did not award him as he wanted. Mr. ***** then tried to fraud us by submitting a fraudulent credit card dispute. He did not win any dispute and we can provide the evidence to show we remained paid. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/05/26) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Attached document will show, irrefutable proof, that as a result of their fraud investigation, CapitalOne, credited back the 3 charges. I am also including 2 "links" that I believe, refer to Mr. Daniel D. M*****. **BBB has removed the submitted links** Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/06/01) */ Mr. ***** continues to harass our team and company. Mr. ***** recieved the requested work product and the court then required additional information based on his long standing and systemically mismanaged case file. Mr. ***** refused to hire an attorney as he was told. We can not provide legal advise. At this point we are going to pursue a peace order against Mr.***** *****. He must stop calling staff that he has attempted to do to try to not adhere with legal procedure.
