I would not recommend Herson Honda for car repair. A well rated independent car repair shop gave me a website to verify if a repair shop is charging a fair price for a repair. I compared the website’s highest price for the following items performed at Herson. I am only sorry I did not check the website before going to Herson. This is a 2015 Honda Accord that is 8.5 years old with only 44,251 miles on the car. Herson Honda Highest Price on the Website Replace F/R Brake Pads (795.05) Replace F/R Brake Pads (738.00) Replace Spark Plugs (718.27) Replace Spark Plugs (289.00) Replace Starter (1137.13) Replace Starter (948.00) For the spark plugs replacement, which is 429.27 more for the repair. Even with Honda parts that do not seem like a fair price, and I feel ripped off!! I am not complaining about the recommended replacements but the pricing of repairs, especially the spark plugs replacement. I did have a problem with my starter, and I wish I had just done the starter. I am looking for a new repair shop for the additional repairs recommended and any future repairs for my car. Once I went to them for a tire that was losing air, they recommended replacing all four tires. I went to a tire repair shop they replaced the valve stem for just $3.00. Once I went to them for an A/C problem that was not cooling, they said they needed to convert to the new refrigerant and would not repair the A/C. I went to an independent shop they replaced a plug for $3.00 and added more of the refrigerant that was already in the car. At that time, there was no requirement for older cars to convert to the new refrigerant. Also, I wonder if they are behind the constant mailings about extended warranty, I have no intention of buying extended warranty and it is harassment.Review from Bessie T

I am looking for a new repair shop for the additional repairs recommended and any future repairs for my car. These repairs were done yesterday (March 14). The service advisor was Emerson Chavez. I would not recommend to bring you car for service to this dealer. My 2018 Honda CR-V needed B1 service. I scheduled an appointment with Herson's Honda Service deaprtment one week in advance ans I mentioned that I did not want to rotate tires and that I only needed to change oil and filter. They did not mention anything about any other service and did not give me the estimated price. I brought my 2018 Honda CR-V to Herson's Honda service department at 8 am and repeated that I only need to change oil and filter. They told me that my car would be ready by 10:30 am and that someone would call me when my car is ready. I went home. When I was at home waiting for the call Herson's Honda sent me a message and called me trying to sell a new battery and new tires to me. I refused. Nobody called me at 10:30 am about my car readines, nobody called me at 11:00 am either. So I decided to go to the dealership. I arrived at 11:30 I found that my car was not ready. I had to wait. When my car was ready they gave me invoice for $248. I could not believe that oil and filter change can cost $248. But they told me that they did some inspections and that I have to pay for that. Should they give me an estimate before starting the service? Anyway, I spent 3 and half hours of waiting and paid $248 when I expected to pay between $70 and $80. I do not recommend to come to this place for your Honda service. Way too expensive and too slow.Review from Richard M

Slipshod service, inattention to details. 2 recent services required unsecheduled return trips within days to correct repairs incorrectly performed. Dismissive customer service when these issues were brought to their attention.
