12/16/21 My father received an offer for 2022 services that expired 2/15/22. My father and I were dissatisfied with services, especially last year, and my father did not accept the offer. He let the offer expire. 2/28/22 (5:30 pm according to On the Green Sign). We noticed the mole cans in the yard on 3/1/22 and my father called and stated he did not continue services this year and he wants the cans removed. The female rep asked why and he said that the services were not satisfactory and he had to call numerous times last year to have weed treatments repeated. 3/8/33 On the Green female rep called my father and said that he owes for the services. I overhead and said he did not renew the contract or pay for the services to continue. The rep said that since there was not a formal letter in the file that he was unhappy for the services, there is no proof he was not happy. I stated that I do not have moles that make raised tunnels in my yard and I even had a second opinion from a service provider. She threatened several times during the conversation that if he does not pay, she is sending this to collections. Then she said that my father told her he wanted to continue with the services. My father looked at me and said, no I didn't. I said, he did not say that. She threatened again to sent to collections and I said I would contact the BBB. 3/8/22 later in the day a bill came for $121.00. Numerous times, especially last year, my father had a manager come out and showed him the weeds in the lawn. I was present for a few of these times. I also showed the manager the patches of weeds in the yard. In addition, he informed them last year he is not interested in the mole service, it does not work, and if he is ever interested in the mole service, he will let them know. Attached is a detailed letter and 2 pages providing the 2022 service offer.
