      Date: 10/23/2022 My mother and I went to IAD Auto- Landover, MD branch to look at vehicles only. We were approached by a salesman who suggested we fill our Pre Approval application with ******* ***, which will allow us to know how much she would be approved and look at the vehicles within that price frame. Not only did the salesman and the finance manager lie on the application, stating we are looking for a 2020 ***** ******, which we never looked at, but the list was listed on every finance application. We only filled out one application for ******* ***. we have received notice from multiple banks stating we were declined for the listed vehicle. We only wanted to see what ******* *** would approve us for, not other banks. They sent in false information without our approval. This company was very dishonest and refused to own their fault. Our credit report was pulled multiple times which was not told to us.

      ************************************* and her mother came to the dealership hoping to purchase a vehicle. We showed them numerous vehicles (including a 2020 ******). Her mother stated she had purchased a vehicle previously from us and was hoping to buy another with a "low" monthly payment. **. *********** mother considered a few vehicles but after her daughter told her she cannot only so much of a monthly payment, they asked if we could do better or look at cheaper vehicles. There was no conversation nor anything written stating the finance application be only for ************** They both filled out credit applications from the dealership, signed and dated. We were unable to agree on a deal that evening and they left stating "they would think about it". **. ********* has called recently after posting this complaint asking why she was receiving mail from lenders who considered financing a vehicle loan. She stated she didn't want to purchase a ****** (she didn't buy anything) therefore we should assist in having the inquiries removed. We explained that was indeed one of the vehicles they inquired about purchasing/financing. We will not be assisting in removing inquiries on either credit report because of the information stated above.

      I went to the dealer to get rid of the co signer who helped me with the credit and now for second time I get something is not what I was looking for and I wasn’t explained everything correct the processs was really quick and when I went the next day they denied canceling the contract signed and I called the bank to cancel the Loan bank said I can go back to the dealer and pick up my previous car with no issue dealer denied to because the manager denied to cancel it when in the contact it says if seller and buyer agree to can be canceled but he refused to and he said that I don’t have to recieve any call from the bank to confirm the loan and then another seller texted me everything I had to say I’m really confused how the dealer manager says something different from what the bank said ? If I denied the loan and called personally how can the dealer manager tell me the loan is paid off already ? I can still check my previous car balance and next payment due is still active. I need help with this

      We have been in business for over 35 years and our only goal is to have satisfied customers.

      We are sorry that the customer feels this way. However, the vehicle sales contract and the financing agreement were each signed by the buyer.  

      The bank had already funded the contract.

      Also the trade-in vehicles remaining balance due to their bank was paid in full to the lien holder. 

      We have done everything in our hands to make our customer happy, however she has a different story every time she comes to our facility. 

      If there is anything else we can do, it would be our pleasure.
