I went to the auction on the 19th I was looking for a car for work I saw the website for the car for 1700 got the address from the website it was the car auction in Joppa Road. I contacted the auction I was told the car was for sale and I had to put in a bid for the car this is my first time going to the auction so I did not know what to expect I was told I had to put a $300 deposit down. I saw the car that I wanted online I never got a chance to look inside the car when I bid it on it I end up paying $2,100 and then I was told I had to get my tags and title from their title place which I was charged $ 423 for tags that only covers 30 days and and I asked why was the tag only for 30 days she told me because the car has not been inspected. If I knew they was going to do this I would never have went there. I purchased a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox. I kept asking what do I do if the car doesn't work or if I decide I don't want the car I never got an answer they kept just saying congratulations on your purchasing a car. I want two two Auto places in one mechanic the car cannot be fixed the brakes are bad and can't be changed out because the frame is rusted out the radiator is busted they knew the car would not pass an inspection of any kind and yet they sold it to me. I needed the car to get me back off to work without the car I will end up losing my job

      Dear ****** ******

We regret that our customer is not satisfied, with the purchase of a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox she made
on Wednesday April 19, 2023.  Our auction opens one and a half hours before the bidding starts for our
customers to check out all vehicles. We do let the customers know that we do not own the vehicles or
check them for any problems. This information is listed on our registration form (#4) that she initialed
and signed. Our registration form states vehicles are sold as is and, breaks down what is and is not
guaranteed on the GOOD ENGINE /TRANSMISSION, our policies and procedures are put into place to
protect our self and the consumer.

Ms. ******** never notified us of any problems she was having, if she would have as soon as we heard
rust we would have had her return the vehicle for inspection. If the frame was/is rusted we will take vehicle
      back for a full refund.

We take our reputation with BBB serious and hate that this customer never reached out to us for a resolution.
We try our best when registering to get our customer to understand the process of our auction and regret
that she is not satisfied with her purchase.

      Thank you

The contract Auto Auction of Baltimore and I had was not upheld. I would like a full refund or a reliable used car as promised. I was not satisfied with the goods sold to me by Auto Auction of Baltimore. In our contract and on their business website it states that each car comes with a good engine and a good transmission. That’s the reason I decided to go to them. Unfortunately that was not the truth: for the car I have purchased. However that is not all, the merchant was unavailable within the 24 hour warranty that they provided. Leaving me an expired warranty that I didn’t have the chance to use. I hope this problem can be resolved soon and within my request for a simple dispute of the purchase.

I have attached all paperwork from the purchase of 2012 Nissan Altima by Ms. ******** vehicle on February 4, 2023. We take our reputation with BBB serious and hate that a resolution with the customer was not reached. We feel that we tried to get our customer to understand that we did our part and regret that she was unsatisfied with her purchase. We give next business day guarantee and Mw. ******** notified us on February 11th @ 2:32 pm with her issues. As you can see she tried to dispute her credit card charges and failed, she has been sending emails, leaving messages on Facebook and sending complaints to goggle for 2 days now. Our policies and procedures are put into place to protect our self and the consumer. The vehicles do not belong to us therefor we would not have had a issue with taking the vehicle back for a full refund if Ms. ******** would have brought to our attention before February 6th  before 5pm. Once again we apologize and if there is anything else I can help you with please feel free to contact me.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
I fully understand what the Auto auction of baltimore is saying. However, I still have a broken car that I was not able to enjoy the $3,000 car that I purchased. I believe I should receive a new car. I could tow the car to the Auction if possible. I fully respect and appreciate the Auto auction of baltimore for reaching out to me this morning and expressed their concerns. I just don’t want my $3,000 to go down the drain. I communicated with the Auto auction of baltimore several times on February 4th evening and 5th. I even had my mom and mechanic reach out.
      Sincerely,

      ******* ********

We are very sorry that we can't satisfy Ms. ********. The vehicles don't belong to us and the owners get paid for the sale 5pm next business day. So if we would take her vehicle back that would be on us and we would go out of business. Once again this is why our policies and procedures are put into place to protect our self and the consumer. Our manager spoke with Ms. ******** this morning and was under the impression that she understood and regrets not returning the vehicle before guarantee ran out.
