      I have been a loyal customer since I purchased my G37x Infiniti. My car has not had any major issues besides routine maintenance which JBA Infiniti Ellicott City performs the work. December 2023 my check engine light came on. Took it to the dealer in which they suggested sensor1 b2, and TCM be replaced/reprogrammed. Which totaled $1522.69, no problem got it done. March 6 engine light back on. Took it back to the dealer, they stated fuel system lean b-2, air flow sensor, spark plugs, and oil change. No problem got it done totaling $1606.45. March 19th, engine light BACK on. Takes it BACK to the dealer on March 20th. When I exited my vehicle I was addressed with “let me guess your check engine light back on? After about 1hr I was taken to the back and shown what the alleged issue is. Then given a printout that stated “most likely culprit is the mass air flow for b1”. Number one, why should I pay for anything that states “most likely?” It either is that or not, and why this code didn’t come up a week ago? Contacted cooperate spoke with Desiray to get a full understanding as to why the machine thats used, only tells you the problem currently and not give a list of codes of all potential issues. Desiray advised me I should go back and speak with the service manager. Wowwww no help there. I am infuriated and disgusted that within 1 1/2 week my check engine light is back on and the explanation I keep receiving is ‘the machine tells us what the current issue is.” This is unacceptable and misleading to customers.

      Good afternoon ,i would like to respond to the owners concerns, ******* ***** is as stated a loyal customer to J.B.A. Infiniti and we believe there is a good relationship between us. That being said the issue of the check engine light coming on ,unfortunately is the main light/indicator that will illuminate for most drivability/emission concerns.Each time the vehicle came in for repairs they fault codes were different , which will lead to a different diagnosis .So what i would like to do is bring the vehicle back for a proper diagnosis/accurate at no charge to ******* to determine what is needed to resolve the issue. Again as stated earlier she is a very good customer to us and we would love to keep the relationship going forward. I would like for to have a conversation with ******* and we could set up a time to have the vehicle gone over.thank you

      I experienced two incidents of misleading and potentially fraudulent behavior by JBA Infinity service department.
      1. In December 2021 the service department stated that my vehicle needs new center pipe, muffler, and tail pipe at a cost of $2435. I declined the service. I took the vehicle to ******* where it was repaired for $310 (gasket + labor to repair). No parts required replacement (except for the gasket) and no welding was required.

      2. In May 2022 my vehicle was leaning to one side with likely suspension problem. The JBA service department stated that the rear air shocks and lines needing replacing at a cost of $3,000. The service was declined by me. I took the vehicle to ******** and they found that the rear left lower control arm had snapped. The lower control arm was replaced at a cost of $1100 parts and labor. The air shocks and lines were found to be in good working order.
      In this particular case the JBA service department likely never inspected the vehicle prior to making a diagnosis because it was very clear that the lower control arm had broken (clearly visible).

      i would like to respond to the above concerns.we have reviewed the work order an technician notes on both repairs
      the vehicle came in on 12-16-21 for an exhaust noise/leak .we advised that rear exhaust was showing rust at flange and bolts were siezed and we recommend rear exhaust to be replaced.We do not weld exhaust system etc.i also would like to add that Mr ********* is a good customer at our store he has serviced here many times, and never brought his concerns to our attention .i feel like we could have explained and addressed at that time and resolved on why we had to do the repair that way. The same concern we have about the rear suspension ,the vehicle was inspected and tested and found system leaking at rear strut and line, no note of any rear lower control arm broken,which would be very noticable. the arm could have broke driving vehicle with suspension sagging after left after our inspection , again these are thing we could have explained and or demonstrated to the customer had we been given the opportunity We are in a customer service business and our goal is to make the customer happy and fix their vehicle properly. I would like the opportunity to talk with you more in depth about the concerns listed if you would like.

      I mailed a letter to Ken ********, the service manager, on June 15 and did not receive any response for over 30 days. I stated in the letter that if I did not hear from him that I would take action and that is what I did.
