Greetings, My name is ****** *******, and I purchased a 2007 GMC Acadia from Fuentes Brothers. The vehicle was purchased in March 2023 in the amount of $10,000, with a $2,000 down payment. I have taken my vehicle to this shop twice regarding mechanical issues. The first issue arose 2-3 weeks after purchase, and it was fixed by their mechanic free of charge. A few months later, the check engine light came on, and I took it to their shop for a diagnostic and was told I needed to pay to have the vehicle fixed. Recently, my vehicle stopped working and would not start, the diagnostic I received for this car from another mechanic, stated this car needed some repairs, to include but not limited to, a new starter, new spark plugs, new fire shield under the hood, new coils, driver shaft/propeller, brakes and rotors. Therefore, I paid more for what the car was worth, and when I spoke to the owner my original solution was to give back the vehicle with no further financial obligation to the dealer. However, I would like to keep the truck and ask Fuentes Brothers to lower the value of the vehicle to $5,000 or reimburse me for all repairs. Sincerely, ****** *******
