      Shoutout to my team: Shaska, RJ, and Mario. I really appreciate them! I didn’t expect to get a car today at all, but because of them I walked away with more than what I originally wanted.       Zero, Zero, Zero!! Recently purchased a used Subaru 2017 from Sean and Nana at DarCars in Rockville, MD. Sean and Nana claimed that the Assurance program would provide an exterior vehicle protection program with state-of-the-art technology used by the Air Force for $1250. The clear coating on the windshield and paint would prevent paint fading and chipping, as well as, protection from rocks cracking the glass windshield. The clear coating is described in the Pamphlet as a thick clear urethane. Well, what a gimmick (bait and switch)!! Buyer beware!! The clear coating are plastic stickers that look very unsophisticated and bumpy. It is NOT the clear state-of-the-art urethane coating described in the pamphelt, which I understood we would receive. Very deceptive. I spoke to Sean and requested my money back and was told I have to jump through hoops to “maybe” get it back. I was just told that there are no refunds for this gimmick program, somehow they left this important piece of information out of their sales pitch! I just learned that the sales person has the authority to sell it but, not return it….hmmm, more deceptions, delays, and denials. Typical tricks of shoddy sales deals. In addition, we were told we would receive car detailing that would be done with a specialized EPA friendly, neutral pH anti-microbial solution to deep clean our vehicle every year. During the initial Assurance Program appointment to apply the cleaning and coatings, we found out through the service office at DarCars Rockville, that it’s just a spray that they use and wipe off, nothing specialized!! The video shows a cleanerr with a full TYVEK suit with hood applying this steam solution to the interior of the vehicle. Again- a deceptive over exagerated portrayal of state-of-the-art for interior vehicle cleaning. What kind of false advertising are these people getting away with? Where is their integrity? How can the BBB allow this to go on? BUYER BEWARE- DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FAKE PROGRAM!!!

      ****DON'T GO****STAY AWAY**** From February 2021: Only giving 1 star because I can't give ZERO. Worst auto experience of my life. Dishonest with genuine intent to deceive. (the only exception is Ken- the finance guy- he was Great) There was ZERO desire to provide any type of customer service, even when I made it as easy as humanly possible. I gave crystal clear communication and specific questions.. which were met with repetitive disregard and false information. They, (sales rep) specifically, lied lied repeatedly about several things, which I later discovered and they could not have cared less. Even contacted the General Manger, Tim, directly.. and, despite an abundance of clear examples of wrong doing, he made no attempt to correct or reconcile, beyond a simple apology. He said he would follow up, never did. Has ignored my attempts to follow up. ****ADDED UPDATE 11/20/21 If you notice the company responded to this review and asked to be contacted to “discuss my experience”. I’ve contacted them THREE times - No Response. Not that I’m surprised. ****ADDED UPDATE 02/22/22 Still no response from company. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other dealership.

      Called yesterday, spoke to Tae in sales. Said he would call me this morning with a price work up on the car Never called and his mailbox was full when I called him. Spoke to another salesman about the car and he never called back. Great customer service.

      In Jan 2021, I went to get my Jeep Wrangler Sahara service for an electrical issue. The dealership returned my car of stating that the service was under warranty and I had to pay the deductible. My car continued to have the same issue. I returned the car. The dealership mention the mechanic forgot to tighten a wire and they would have it done today. I requested for the dealership to complete an oil change and tire rotation while they had to car. The service was completed. During the both service, DARCAR Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Silver Spring completed an inspection of the vehicle and identified no issues. Approximately two weeks later I was driving my vehicle out of state and the car began to vibrate. I called the Darcar Jeep Silver Spring informing them about the issue and they told me to go to the nearest Jeep dealership. The local dealership informed me that Darcar in Silver Spring forgot to tighten ALL the lug nuts on my Jeep after the tire rotation. My back tires had broken lug nuts and the wheel locks was the only thing holding my tires on to my truck. DARCAR Jeep Silver Spring COULD HAVE KILED ME! If one of those wheels would have flown off, I would not be writing this review. It took them 30 days to accept responsibility of the neglect. My vehicle was in another say over 500 miles away for a month. The Service Manager, General Manager, and Area Manager all said they would take care of the situation. “We will give you whatever you want because this could have caused you your life.” Yet, as soon as I asked for compensation for loss wages, time away from my family, and a refund for the service, they send the lawyers. What a way to treat a customer who have supported your for years. Darcar Jeep in Silver Spring caused over 5k worth of damage to my Jeep Wrangler. If you like paying for dealership service that can lead to you being a funeral service, go to DARCAR Jeep Silver Spring.
