I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent roofing work conducted by Great American Gutters and Painting LLC at **** ******** **** on 9/15/2023. Unfortunately, the quality of the workmanship has fallen way below expectations with multiple visits, and there are still several issues that need immediate attention. I had my insurance company come back out on 1/23/24 to inspect the roof. This is the same guy that found the first huge hole on my flat roof on 9/21/23, 6 days after installation. This time of inspection, he found significant and multiple defects of the flat roof. The flat roof was NOT installed correctly which has now caused damage to my home interiorly that I would like compensation for as well. My home is now very exposed to being further damaged by weather- wind, rain, etc. I will need to hire someone to come put tarp on it to prevent farther damages. The flat roof needs to be completely re-done! The metal flashing is curling up and there are multiple areas that are not attached to the actual home. The tar is not sticking to the roof material to the house. This is visible from the ground, so it should have been seen by this company the two (2) times they’ve had to come out for “repairs” in the only 3 1/2 months I've had the roof. I asked many times during both visits to please inspect the entire roof, and that was evidently not done. I trusted their company to do a good quality roofing job and I did not get that. I no longer trust that this company, 1) did the job correctly to begin with, 2) I no longer trust them to fix it, and fix it correctly, 3) I do not feel comfortable having to continue business with a company that put a defective roof on my home. 4) I do not feel safe or secured in my own home. 5) every rain or snow storm I am going to be extremely worried about if my home will have water coming into it, like it has. 6) I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY AT ALL! That was the reason for a NEW roof!
