I too feel bamboozled by this company but I also hold ******* ****** the administrator accountable as they sold the plan. The terms of the plan are confusing. They don't tell you up front that this is NOT major medical and use language to describe their plan that is similar to traditional healthcare plans when it is not that at all.Review from Terry W

Worst Insurance company ever!! I was told my PC was in-network, I went to my doctors for a regular physical which was supposed to be $25 dollar co-pay. I just got my explanation of benefits in the mail yesterday and it says service not covered because my PC is out of network. I paid $340 for insurance that was supposed to be the best coverage for the price. Yeah right! they hang up on me when I try to call and talk to them. My bill is $623 and I still have two more that are going to be coming. What did I pay the $340 for? I could have just saved that money and paid my bill with it. Someone needs to help all of us who are reporting this.Review from Lynn D

After waiting 30 days, I still had not received anything regarding my “new” policy. No insurance identification card or anything. And my bank flagged their company as fraud alert. I decided to research FHN, and found I’m not the only one who had been scammed by them. Stay away from FHN!Review from Kimberly V

****!!!!!!! 0Stars!!!!!!! On the phone with them as we speak. They keep knocking me off my call. We were told we were to get a full refund by 2/13/2024. Spoke with a call named Nicole. We did not receive the refund. I have call this morning a keep getting bounced around and then cut off completely. Please head warning and do your due diligence when purchasing insurance. We will be calling our credit card next. I will update as soon as we can actually speak with someone from their company.Review from Kyle E

Similar story to everyone else. I spoke with an agent who informed me that I was getting "the best, cheapest plan to cover what I needed as someone who recently moved off of their parents' insurance." After being denied at urgent care centers I went to the ER as nothing else was available. To no fault of their own, they mistook "First Health Network" for Health First, a government insurance plan." In reality I had no emergency room coverage, and the plan the agent sold me wasn't even medical insurance. Rather it was a supplemental plan for those looking for additional coverage. In retrospect I should have read into the plan further, but I trusted the agents at First Health Network, and I am not facing a substantial medical bill I am in no position to afford. Hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. I never head from my agent after the first sales call.Review from Freida S

This company markets itself as giving you primary insurance such as First Health Network through Innovative Partners and covering all doctors and providers for a small copay. They then charge you $279.97 upfront for the insurance yet none of the state providers they claim to cover take their insurance. They are supplemental insurance that does not cover anything and no primary care doctors in VA take this insurance. When you try to cancel or call them or the billing department for help, they put you through the wringer, hang up on you, don't pick up calls, and don't let you cancel saying the reason is invalid. They will hang up on you from there and you have to report them to your credit card company as they continue to charge you.Review from Donna C

If I could give this a 0 I would. Complete scam. I feel embarrassed to say, I thought I got affordable medical insurance for myself and then when I called the agent to tell him I did not receive any emails with confirmation papers he said I would be getting them from First Health which I never did. I had to stop a $369 payment on my cc and these people should be ashamed of themselves. It was through a website nystatehealthplans.com that is a scam too. I misread it for a government website for affordable health insurance. I am just so upset at this. First Health is a scam and this website is a scam.Review from Paul Ryan O

I have the same issue as everybody else right now. Thinking that this insurance would help me but it didn't. It was a scam. We went to urgent care thinking that it will going to cover the cost unfortunately it didn't I paid the entire 180 dollars plus the lab test for a total of 200 plus. This is the worst insurance company I've ever seen. Is there a way we can still get our money back or sue this company? All of the providers that I called from their website are bogus! as in nothing is in-network or not accepting the insurance. What is the point of purchasing this if you can't use it? I am so disappointed and angry. I want some justice. Please report this company to the higher authority.Review from Stephen C

First Health Network advertised to me that my insurance plan covered Physical Therapy. Upon trying to get a provider for PT, I sought a list of providers who were in the network. They sent me a list that included many providers who were no longer in the network. I finally found two providers who were in network. When I contacted those providers they contacted First Health Network (FHN) who said my insurance did not cover PT. I called FHN and they said PT was covered under my plan. I have repeatedly contacted FHN been transferred from person to person with no resolution.Review from Kaitlyn N

This is a scam. Doesn't cover really anything. Several of my doctors laughed at my insurance card when they saw it - its paper!!! Stay aware from this.
