  I had an extremely disappointing experience with Magic Tile Design and strongly advise others to stay away. I hired them to build a custom steam shower and specifically requested the ******** system. They claimed to be experienced with ******** but this quickly proved false. They used the wrong materials, including no vapor barrier, and had to tear out their own work after I caught the issue. Once they got the correct products, it became clear they didnt know how to use them. I had to guide them step by step, contact ******** myself, and explain proper installation just to preserve the warranty. They constantly asked me to order materials last-minute, installed components incorrectly (e.g., bench brackets upside down), and required constant oversight. The tile work was sloppy. The mosaic floor was uneven, causing water to pool. The shower niche had inconsistent depths and crooked lines. The shower opening wasnt square, throwing off the glass fit by half an inch over four feet. I had to hire another pro to fix drainage and slope. In the the laundry area, they cut a hole in the wall and used only a membrane to seal it instead of proper ******** corners again showing a lack of basic knowledge. They also used a wet saw directly over my brand-new hardwood floors despite being told not to causing water damage and gouges. Fixing this means sanding and refinishing multiple rooms. Jefferson was defensive and combative throughout. Even after acknowledging issues, he grouted over visible defects instead of fixing them. To make matters worse, what was supposed to be a one-week job dragged out for over a month with zero urgency or or professionalism. In short: they misrepresented their experience, ignored instructions, delivered poor work, damaged my home, and wasted my time. I would never recommend Magic Tile Design or Jefferson to anyone.
