The movers damaged dropped and broke many of my furnishings. The owner was very very unprofessional he called me 13 times during the move and was extremely rude He sent men that were incapable of doing the job although they did work hard the furnishings were very heavy and they were not up to the task. It was very stressful watching them scratch, dent and break everything I own at the end of the move both parties frustrated and disappointed with the job I paid them cash and gave them a tip The following day I see they charged my credit card the same amount I had paid the day before. $610.30. Charged on my credit card They would not return my calls so I proceeded to write a review and that got the owners attention and the he proceeded to say horrible things about me and then said I refused to pay I paid cash with a tip they jump in the truck and took off before I could ask for a receipt I do have a witness 3 of us were there at the time of the transactionI am on disability Ive save for 8 months and to have someone steal that amount of money is unconscionableCustomer Answer

I'll post the same thing I did to your ****** Review:
I'm glad you posted this, now I get to stand up for my guys and my company: You are a miserable person and I would not want to work for or with you in any capacity. Maybe if you hadn't harassed and yelled at my guys the whole time they were there they would have been able to do their job and not have been so flustered. We do this every day and our reviews overall speak for themselves. My guys make mistakes sometimes but they work hard and do a great job. They ran into things we couldn't anticipate and you hadn't told us about and thus the time increased and the cost for the service increased, and you refused to pay. You made them so miserable they just wanted to get out of there, but yes it took longer and they were trying so hard to do the job right for you and for me, despite your treatment of them.
Edit: You asked us specifically to move 8 pieces of furniture and 20 boxes but we ended up having to take doors off and taking a bunch of stuff apart, and then you added moving things around the house, so it took longer and you refused to pay the difference. It doesn't work that way, you don't get to under-state what you want us to do and then add things and time and not pay for it. The guys broke your mirror (that you said you had just sold) and we were willing to work with you on that, but starting at the correct price for the service overall. And, there is no way all those dots and nicks on the desk were from us. That has some age and use, so how do we know what they did or didn't do? Stop yelling at people and maybe they can do their job and not break mirrors. Those guys have a combined 5 years in the moving business and do a great job, when the customer allows them to do so. And then you refused to pay, which is why my ops manager (I'm the owner) was trying to call you so much, and then you just yelled at him too.
That said, if you are willing to start at the correct invoice amount, I am willing to refund the difference and address the mirror, etc.

I think we know who the bully is here. Maybe the office didn't return your calls because they didn't want to be yelled at. My offer stands. I can update the charges to be correct, and we can discuss the broken mirror and damage to the desk. I will deduct that and we can adjust credit card charges accordingly. I think this is a very fair path. I never have these issues, except with customers who don't want to pay the correct amount for the services provided.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:you have extremely exaggerated the truth
You had no right to steal money from me You can call me all the names you want you men could not handle the job you were extremely unprofessional. Your employees did not to a good job yes they work their *** off but in the end the took more time than needed one of them was down in the front yard dealing with an issue on the phone with his son then they took 2- 20-25 minute breaks. You were not there!!! You can continue to lie I gave you men drinks which they threw empty bottles on the porch. Capable movers would have had 8 pieces of furniture and 6 tubs 4 boxes it doesnt even matter anymore I want my money back in my credit card and I never want to deal with you again you stole money from me and you lie

Contracted with the moving company for a set number of pieces within their minimum of three hours charges. The moving team was less than desirable and we did most of the work, however, the main issue is the damage to two white chairs. After many emails and photos showing the damage caused, Grunts emailed saying that they believe there is only one chair in question, rather than two. After a few days and several emails, we agreed to 60 cents per pound for damages. We received a refund of $38 for one chair. When we contacted Grunts they said it was only one chair, so now we are in a dispute. *****'s last email states that based on photos sent of two chairs they have determined there is only one chair. We want a refund for the second chair and the email communication since the initial quote has been for two chairs, however, they have yet to even come to our home to view anything in person or attempt to resolve it. Their initial response was to deny any culpability.Business Response
