    **** was hired back on Feb 3, 2025, (contract signed in January) to fix our shower floor, which had leaked into the basement ceiling, causing water damage. The basement leak has been fixed, but the shower floor is still in need of repair. The tiles have not held for longer than a few days. **** sent his employees to our house 3 times to fix the shower floor, but they never resolved the problem. They gave reasons such as a "poor batch of cement and a poor batch of grout," while also saying the materials worked fine in other customers' showers. We asked for our money back for this portion of the job after realizing they didn't know how to fix it. **** refused and insisted on coming back a 4th time. This project has now been dragging on for months. **** would cancel on us numerous times last minute, or just didn't show up at confirmed times. The constant rescheduling put stress on our family as we both work and have two young kids. We are asking **** for a refund of $750 to put towards hiring someone else to complete the job. Given the cost of labor and materials, and considering our inconvenience, we believe this is fair. **** has been unwilling to give us this amount back. In total, we paid him $3544.00, which does not include what we paid for materials.

    When **** received news of the BBB complaint he texted both of us saying we were "terrible people and wished us the worse."
