We called Fences2u to have a fence put in. We met with ***. We explained to him we wanted to replace our existing 6 ft. fence with another vinyl 6 foot fence with a gate. We also stated we wanted 2 short length picket fence gates to enclose the rest of our yard because we have a dog. First we were giving a quote of ***** and then when my husband followed *** to the car to ask more question, he told my husband it would be ***** because he supposedly forgot to factor in the gates. Which was a bold lie because we had already told him what we wanted. We then got a text from *** stating installation would be July 16, 2022. No set time of arrival was ever given. My husband contacted *** a week before the installation was set to be done to ask *** a few questions we had. *** did not recall anything and tried telling my husband the ***** quote was for 3 gates and told my husband they were putting one gate in our existing fence. When my husband tried telling him that he was incorrect and that we were getting a whole new 70 ft, 6 ft. high fence he said he would come out to our house the next day. *** never called us the next day. We actually called him and again he played dumb stating the quote was for 3 gates when I explained I saved all text messages from him confirming what we wanted done. He then became quite abrupt and said forget the whole thing then. This is bad business practice. This is not the type of person I would want working for any company. We were also given a business card with the name ************************** on it and another phone number all together. We assumed this was ***** boss. When we called the number to report the issue we had with ***, we got a voice message. No one ever called us back. This is clearly a company that tells you a quote, never gives you a paper nivoice of said quote only a text message and then forgets what they are supposed to do. I strongly do not recommend this company They are clearly unscrupulous!
