Really there a 10 in my book. This is the second time Ive used window world and Im even more impressed especially with *************************** the sales rep. So knowledgeable and great to work with. *** and *** helping with scheduling and repairs so professional. The crew that showed up and did an amazing job and worked very hard removing the old windows and installing new windows to perfection. They were efficient, clean and quick. ****,Vilmar and **** you guys were amazing from start to finish not to mention the windows are Spectacular looking better then I imagined. Im so glad I found *************************** and Window World who installed 20 windows at my house.I highly recommend Window World and there amazing ppl inside and out.Sincerely,****** (Mac) *********************

I went to Window World store and saw the windows and asked them to come out for a quote. I was interested in vinyl replacements and their prices good. Sales person quoted windows over $30k which was way over what was discussed in store. He then made another offer after I told him I was not interested. I received follow up calls but it was a total turn off. I would stick with ******, ******** or ****** because they are reputable brands.

Window World of Boston installed 2 casement windows and a deck slider in my condominium in March of 2021. The contractors showed up in a rental van and were not wearing uniforms or any sort of identification that would indicate they were working for Window World. The order called for primed white wood to be used as moulding, but the contractor showed up with only unprimed, bare wood. Contractor also used a sealant that has proven to be unpaintable. Even Kilz primer will not stick to it. During the window install, contractor ground his tool belt against walls in both rooms, damaging the paint such that the walls needed repainting. During deck slider install, the contractor ground his knife into the paint adjacent to the slider, creating ugly scrapes that will also require repainting. After the install, I sent a list of the issues to Window World and they sent a representative to investigate within a week. The man was only able to correct two of the issues and did not offer to make any of the other ones right, including the unpainted wood. I am still having problems painting those window frames. There is a reason these guys cost less than their competition. I don't believe they deserve an A+ rating and would not recommend them to others.

Thank you, ***** M, for your feedback. I wish you called us last year when you were still not satisfied with the service. The primed wood was not available at time of installation due to supply issues but that was noted and agreed upon in the contract. We could have rectified the caulking with a new application of caulking specific for staining. Unfortunately, only paint can be applied to paintable caulk. A stainable caulk must be used if you are planning to stain your window moulding. We will ***** come out to re-caulk those areas for you.

I had to laugh when I looked at the response to my review. I have no idea why that response mentions "staining" or "stainable caulk." As noted in my review, I was attempting to PAINT the caulk used by Window World of Boston's contractor, and I indicated that it would not even take Kilz primer. At no time have I ever indicated that I wanted to "stain" anything. I am using Kilz and Behr acrylic paints, which are readily available at *********** I maintain that the contractor used a caulk that was unpaintable. Their comment about staining is completely irrelevant. With regard to their contention that the primed moulding was not available, due to supply issues and that I somehow agreed that was OK, all I can say is that NONE of the documents that the Window World Sales Rep PROVIDED to me gave me any indication that there was anything "tentative" about their ability to supply primed, white moulding. If it were a supply issue, I would have gladly delayed the installation to get what I wanted. From my perspective, ANY customer in my position would likely have been just as surprised as I was to see unprimed moulding being installed.
