I purchased a ********** Jetta as of November 02, 2023. I then received all the paperwork necessary for my vehicle registration as well as a 30 day warranty and an odometer disclosure. It was December 1 that I then returned the vehicle to the shop for repairs on the transmission, right before the warranty expired. I got AAA to send the car over for repairs and I ended up being very patient for about a month so they can do their job. They promised to call me back, but no calls were made at all. Since no parts were bought for the repairs after closing in 2 months later, I asked for a refund from them. The shop owner, whom I believe who he was, and the secretary didnt give me any phone calls as promised to do so and I was liable in making all the calls back to the shop. The 2 options they gave me was to either pay for the transmission so I can keep the car, or they would issue the complete refund of the vehicle, but I would still have to pay for either one of the 2 different transmission options that was provided. I do not want to pay for the transmission seeing that this was against the lemon law due to it being under warranty and that it took over 2 1/2 months to find the part. Last time I spoke to the secretary in person at the shop was March 15 and she said she was going to explain everything that I said about the situation to the owner and give me a call back. It is March 19 when im sending this and I havent received that call back. All I ask is for my full refund without having to pay anything.
