I went to dental office in September 2021 after my crown came off It was recemented but I experienced excruciating pain,saw a second dentist crown recemented and have been pain free.i also had a cleaning around same time.i have Delta Dental and Federal BCBS. I have received multiple bills from dental office, none with same balance, although most recent visit was 9/2021. I was informed they changed their billing system, then told they were waiting for insurance companies to pay them.well in March 2022,I received a **** with a balance of $36 and change, which was paid. This week I received a letter which said I have and overdue balance of $63 something No **** showing line by line charges, just a letter with an amount due. I called the office and was told I owe $13, not $63 but they would have office manager call me next am.She did not call and when I called back, she said I owe $63.it is 7 and 1/2 months after services and no consistency as to balance. I also requested to reschedule dental cleaning in June as I will be away,the office manager in a retaliatory manner,said next available appointment is November 2022 for a cleaning. I have never not been provided an invoice from dentist showing charges,what insurance paid and clients balance. Thank you in advance as this is not standard practice to just write a letter and to verbally say what balance is without showing how that balance is derived
