Called Mr ******************** ,CPA, the 1st week of April 2022. Asked him if he was able to file my 2021 tax returns. He agreed he would do so & instructed me to drop the paperwork , in his mailbox, which is located on the wall outside his office door,, inside the building , which is located at ************************************************************************. The following day, I dropped my was and tax paperwork, In a sealed envelope outside his office door, as 8 had done several times within the past 5 yrs as he's completed my tax returns several times before. The following week I called him for an update update the April 15th deadline was upcoming. The call went straight to voice-********** voice mail was full so I couldn't leave a message. I continued calling his office , even stopping by atbthe end of the first week in April to check if he had received my mail and his mailbox was empty so I assumed he had. I continued to do do several times throughout he month of April into May of 2022 & still couldn't reach him. I emailed him on May 24th ******** 14th, and got no response, and continued calling and stopping by his office thru the month of July. This is very concerning , as he's always been reliable . I decided to contact the *** and was able to speak to a staff member for State taxes . She informed me nothing was filed in my name for taxes this year . I told her what was going on and she instructed me to find another CPA and to file my taxes asap. I made an wppt with ****** Taxes, CPA in West Roxbury, which is scheduled for tommomw 8/25/22 at 11am. I still haven't heard back from him and his voice-mail is still full to this day, so there's no way to leave a message. This also means , that I have no idea where all my personal & financial documents , social security #, and who has possession of this information. I'm now calling identity theft to tell them about this , in the hopes that my personal information hasn't been breached. Thank you for your time.
