    They show less price in itinerary but actual booking charges are higher. *** they dont handle customer complaints very well

    Thank you **** for great service today. I had to book ticket at last hour due to family emergency. **** took care of whole processing and ticket booking while I was on my way to airport. She even gave me good suggestions that was time and cost effective for me. I will highly recommend **** as a best agent to work.

    I booked a ticket to ***** and Paid with **** of ************ card. I got a email that they are not accepting BOA card. I have this card for 25 years and don't have any other card with me. So had to cancel the trip and buy the tickets will another agent. So when you are booking tickets for an emergency don't ever book with them.

    I agree with some of the reviews . Getting a refund has been a pain for the last one month . I booked 4 tickets for Emirates paying $5,515.84 with PNR 3N8CTR on Dec 21 2023 . Due to a death in the family I had to cancel the tickets and paid Alanita $350*4= $1400 on Feb 2 2024. Emirates refunded me $1125.96*3 + $937.96 = $4315.84 which is $1200.00 less though it was told that it was fully refundable if I pay the $ 1400 cancelation fees . This was on Feb 15, 2024 Alanita paid me a check #****** of $600.00 on Mar 6 . I am being calling emailing them over the past one month and every time I have to repeat the story . Today they claimed that they have paid everything on the ***** This is outright lie and unprofessional . I would not have done business with them had I known and read the reviews .

    ? Refunds may take up to Ten(10) weeks depending on the airline."

    The refund initially was performed with an error and the client received less amount than due.

    We are working to refund the balance due to pax via check and already notified the client.

    Due to major illness of my wife in 2022, I had to cancel my travel to *****. Instead of appropriately helping me, this company asked for cancellation fee and also asked me to pay cash and did not accept credit card. My bank, ***** refunded the money for medical reason. this company has the nerve to *** me for no show amount. this is how alanita travel in ****** is helping customers. they have 2 companies: alanita travels in ****** shown as closed and alanita travel that operates. just to confuse customers while complaining to BBB. Most third class customer service and operation. There is absolutely zero support that they provide and tell customers to work with airlines to resolve is***s.i just found that they operate as "alanita travels" in ****** now and the main company (***** and in US) is alanita travel. so i need BBB help to fix "alanita travel" the main company and "alanita travels" that is in ******. last year when i was filing complaint, i found alanita travels in ****** closed and alanita travel as operating company. so possibility is they will close alanita travels in ****** if enough people complain. can BBB help fix this? they do not deserve 1 "*".

    We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to the client.


    As per records, the client purchased an airline ticket using our booking services on 20th August 2022 for traveling roundtrip from ****** (**) to ****** (IN) with scheduled outbound journey on 27th Nov 2022 and the inbound journey on 16th Dec 2022.


    The passenger did not cancel or utilize the ticket due to which the airline marked the ticket as no show. Also the passenger disputed the ticket charges to avoid paying the cancellation penalties  and managed to get a full refund.


    Due to which airline is debiting us for the full cancellation penalty with no show.


    The terms and conditions of specially discounted agency fares and airline fares are frequently different. Prior to booking, the client is informed of the ticket cancellation and refund policies.

    Cancel / Refund: Penalty(s) for the above ticket(s) may vary from $375 and above; Up to a Non-Refundable status of/per Ticket/Passenger.
    ? Refunds may take up to Ten(10) weeks depending on the airline.

    The client was aware and acknowledged the terms and conditions prior to the purchase of tickets.


    Also in regards to the any medical waiver it is subject to airline policies and as per ticket fare rules "REISSUANCE/CANCELLATION/NO-SHOW PENALTY WAIVED FOR DEATH OF PASSENGER OR IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER".

    Subject: Complaint regarding Non-Refund of Airline ticket money despite **************** Fee for Refund Process Hello Team,I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the services provided by ************* Travel Agency. It has been over ONE YEAR since I requested a refund for my airline ticket. I have already PAID $25.00 SERVICE FEE for Refund Process one year back. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter, I have not received any response or reimbursement from your agency.To provide you with the necessary details, I booked a flight through your agency. The Record Locator or the *** was UWBJDZ . However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my travel plans and requested a refund.After the three way call with Airline representative and Your agency representative, Your representative agreed with the refund of the ticket amount for which I was asked to pay upfront $25.00 Service fee, which I paid through Zelle.I have made several attempts to contact your agency through phone calls and emails, but all my efforts have been met with silence. This lack of communication and failure to fulfil your obligations as a travel agency is completely unacceptable.I kindly request that you address this matter urgently and provide a prompt refund of the ticket amount within 14 days of receiving this complaint. Failure to comply with this request will leave me with no choice but to escalate this issue to the relevant consumer protection agencies, as well as share my experience on various travel review platforms and social media channels.I trust that you value your customers and take pride in maintaining a reputable and customer-centric approach. I hope this unfortunate situation can be resolved swiftly and amicably.     Dear Better Business Bureau,

    Client purchased a ticket with ****** airlines on 29th may 2021 for a scheduled outbound departure on 2nd June 2021 and return on 16th June 2021.

    On May 31st 2021 the client opted for an open ticket as travel dates were not yet confirmed.

    On June 1st 2021, Client made a date change for departure on June 4th 2021 and return on 16th June 2021. And later we have observed pnr was exchanged by the airline and kept in open status.

    On May 19, 2022, the client contacted us again and asked for a date change that was longer than the allotted time; nevertheless, we were only permitted access for a maximum of one year after the issuance. The client asked for a full refund as there is no chance of reissuing after the time limit has passed. However, the airline declined the request because there was no involuntary changes in the pnr and the ticket was non-refundable under the terms of the fare. However, the client set up a conference call with us to speak with the airline support staff, who advised us to request a refund via the ****** Airlines website instead because it wouldn't be processed until the *** was verified.

    On June 25th, 2022, the client completed a cancellation authorization form, and we submitted a refund request with reference number ******** which was declined by ****** airlines.

    As we adhere to airline policies, we have no option to process a refund or modify a ticket now that the airline has rejected the refund request.

    RUNNING A SCAM!!!We have been booking with them for many years, primarily because initially we were getting it somewhat cheaper compared to online....things were fine until COVID arrived when you really needed customer service and people needed rescheduling/refunds....We booked a Delta flight and were told if your journey is impacted by covid, we will get you refund..if you reschedule, you can pay the fare difference and fly......our child came down with covid and we couldnt fly...then started the nightmare of dealing with poor customer service...no refunds, nothing.....ticket got converted to an open ticket because Delta allowed it.......then, when it came to rescheduling, ***** and her gang started the game of making further money by asking $300/ticket on top of what we had already paid (a 570 ticket), stating its airline policy and they cant do much (while online fares on those dates were lower than what we had paid).....so pay up, or loose the ticket already holding....finally we were able to get hold of delta customer care, who told us these agents are lying and Delta never asked for such a money...Delta only requires fare difference, which was only $4.50 for our preferred dates.....finally the delta customer care was able to redeem the e-credits and issue the ticket, but not before this Alanita gang made us pay $50/ticket as the service charge on top to release the **************** learned, dont go with them, book directly on the airline website, mostly they are comparable fares and you have a smooth process of rescheduling/refund without paying these middlemen additional hundreds of $ in "airline policy" fees that never exist in first place....Date of experience: February 03, 2022

    As per the history, the client purchased three tickets for ***** Airlines using our booking service.


    Later as one of the passenger tested positive for Covid-19 the client canceled the tickets and kept it open for future use with **** change penalties as the airline was not offering full refund. 


    The client approached us back for rebooking the tickets and we have quoted the price difference based on availability.


    Ticket fares do fluctuate and the price difference may vary based on the seat availability.


    Also we have not collected any service fee for these tickets. If the passenger has any proof stating he paid service fee for these tickets he can submit that for further review.

    I had a really bad experience with Alanita travels and I wouldn't recommend them to my friends and family. They are not reliable & transparent at all. They are cheaters.Until you make the reservation through them, they are all very friendly and try to be very helpful. After that they try their best to scam you and take additional money from you.They hide many things from you during the booking. They won't tell you the ticket they are booking whether it's refundable or nonrefundable.For instance, I had to reschedule my ticket that they booked through **. When I reached out to ** they said it's through some agent and they won't be able to provide any information.So when I reached out to the Alanita representative, the person was very rude and not helpful. On top of that they mentioned tickets are nonrefundable ,but they said they will help with rescheduling and I have to pay the fare differences. When I compare the ticket price on the ** website , it's comparatively low what the agency is asking to pay.When I tried to further explain my case, the representative was rude and hung up.I generally don't write the reviews in ******* but the experience was so bad as well as reading other reviews in ****** confirms the same. I want to make sure others don't have an impact like me and hence I wanted to drop this note.Please suggest if there is any way I can file a fraud case against them.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to the client.As per records, the client purchased four airline tickets using our booking services with United airline on 31st August 2021.Later on 16th September 2021 as per client's written authorization tickets were cancelled and kept open for future use.Later on 7th November 2021 client approached us back and rebooked the tickets with a new schedule departing from ******* on 24 Jan 2022 and the return journey from ***** on 25 Feb 2022.Again on 17th January 2022 based on client's written authorization tickets were cancelled and placed in open for future use.On 17th August ***************************************************** extend the validity of the tickets till 31 Dec 2023 as he was not able to travel due to **** related issues.As per the ticket fare rules tickets are non refundable and the same information was conveyed to the client due to which client requested to extend the ticket validity till 31 dec 2023.Currently all four tickets are in open status and all travel needs to be completed before 31 December 2023 , during rebooking fare difference if any needs to be paid and airline change penalties waived off.Also the Cancellation and refund rules are notified to the client prior to the booking."Cancel / Refund: Penalty(s) for the above ticket(s) may vary from $375 and above; Upto a Non-Refundable status of/per Ticket/Passenger."Feel free to reach us back for any further queries.Thank you,Alanita Travel

    I was never informed by the Alanita that the ticket they are issuing non refundable ticket for me . When i trying to cancel my ticket during the covid time . In that time they informed me that ticket is non refundable and they can kept the ticket in open status and later i rescheduled my ticket and paid the ticket differences . They cheated me and kept me in dark that the tickets are non refundable. This is a fraud case and cheated me
