    I am submitting a formal complaint against Born to Move, a moving company operating in ******, **, regarding a scheduled move that took place on June 23, 2025.Born to Move advertises dedicated moving services with no consolidation of items with other customers. However, after completely packing up and loading onto their truck my entire two-bedroom condominium, the movers told me they had brought the wrong truck and presented me with two unacceptable options:1) Pay nearly double the quoted price for them to complete the move.2) Agree to a consolidated move where my belongings would be transferred to another truck and combined with another customer's itemsa direct contradiction of what their website promises.When I refused both of these unethical alternatives, the movers unloaded all of my belongings back into my home and left, leaving me without a moving solution on the day of my planned relocation.While I did pay the movers for the labor they performed up to that point, I received none of the services I contracted them for, and I was forced to scramble to find last-minute alternatives at significant cost.This behavior amounts to:1) Deceptive and misleading business practices 2) Bait-and-switch tactics 3) Failure to honor advertised services 4) Emotional and logistical distress caused by abandonment of the job I am requesting:1) That Born to Move be investigated for possible fraudulent or deceptive practices.2) That their BBB record reflect this incident to warn future ************ That I be considered for compensation in the amount of $4,000 to account for the additional moving expenses, lost time, and disruption caused by their failure to deliver.4) I am prepared to submit documentation of the quote, timeline of events, communication with the company, and evidence of the misrepresentation on their website.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope action will be taken to protect other consumers from this type of misconduct.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your scheduled move on June 23, 2025. We are genuinely sorry that your experience did not reflect the standards of service we aim to uphold at Born to Move.
    We acknowledge that there was an issue with the truck assigned to your move, and we regret the inconvenience this caused. Our dispatcher made an error that resulted in a vehicle being dispatched that was not suitable for a dedicated move. While options were presented at the time in an effort to provide a solution under the circumstances, we recognize that they did not align with your expectations or our advertised services, and for that, we sincerely apologize.
    We also regret that the situation led to a breakdown in trust and a disruption of your moving plans. While our crew did complete the loading and unloading labor, we fully understand the disappointment caused by not being able to complete your relocation as originally scheduled.
    We are aware that you have already posted multiple public reviews regarding your experience. While we respect your right to share feedback, we want to clarify that Born to Move has made every effort to communicate transparently and in good faith both during and after the service date.
    We take all complaints seriously and have used this incident as an opportunity to review our internal procedures and dispatcher protocols to ensure that errors like this are avoided in the future.

    Truck was parked illegally in a 24/7 no parking zone not even for just like drop a package and run which hindered my exiting of the garage and cause the door to close and shatter my back glass

    You not our customer.Clearly it show on a video this is issue with a building gate not our company police report was made for incident NOT accident because gate in all apartments was not supposed to close while abstracted.Video is clear evidence and received by our team. Calling us 20+ times from No called ID represent you by swearing creaming and yelling on a phone with everyone you not going to get anywhere. Your future calls from you will be recorded. This is BASSELESS. I showed it to our lawyer he agreed with me legal issue has to be address in court and I strongly encourage that you stop harassing us and speak with your apartment complex as police told you.

    they left half my products behind from the old address to the new address very unprofessional they disassembled pieces of furniture refused to reassemble them. They also broke one of the things they took apart, scratched up the floors at my brand, new house, then overcharged us when by three hours from them, just sitting around, doing nothing from in between taking things out and putting them on the truck we even fed them lunch then I had the audacity to say we werent paying them a tip not paying a tip to somebody that is very unprofessional very rude very ignorant. I spoke with the owner **** last night whos guaranteed theyd be here today May 2 to reassemble everything they would be here at 8 oclock and they did not show up. I stopped payment on that check because they did not show up on time then that was yesterday May 1. Theyre still not here its 9:22 AM May 2 as promised that they would be here to reassemble everything they did not put anything in the rooms that they were asked to put them in they did what they wanted and on top of it I have two bathrooms the heavyset gentleman Peed in my bathroom upstairs with the door open and Peed all over my seat. They are very unprofessional. Its disgusting. I want to write an apology and I want them to come put my stuff back together they disassembled three beds put back together too. They also took my headboard a pot and didnt finish put the main piece to my headboard back didnt reassemble the third bed. They disassembled my mirror off my dresser then lost the brackets the dress it was a gift to me from my late husband. It was a $10,000 bedroom set not fair. they set pictures that are worth thousands and thousands of dollars in a Pio with no regards the picture of that is sent to you. One of them has the New England Patriots Super Bowl rings in it along with the Super Bowl tickets $30,000 picture and they just threw it in the corner.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  and the landlord threw out our stuff that was left behind that **** the manager promised to come the next day and get and put back together the stuff the took apart and while

    and i notice. that they broke the brackets to my mirror and the 3 leg

    to my dresser. and broke a few other things

    We are taking your to court for not paying your bills and for a job that we performed
    You check bounced as soon as we deposit it!
