    I had an agreement with Mr ********************** to build an Egress Stairs at my home, the coast for the stairs was $15,500. Work started on the egress the first week of July 2023, by the end of July the Egress was completed. The building inspector came on July 31, 2023 to do the inspection of the staircase. Mr ********************** was told by the building inspector that the staircase did not pass inspection. On August 3rd, I received a text from Mr ********************** saying the building inspector wants him to correct the steps and put some extra blockings at the post for railings. He did not return for the entire month of August or September. I texted on October 1st inquiring when he would be back, he responded and said "will let you know when we coming". On October 4th I texted again asking when he would be back to correct the stairs. On 10/16/23 the staircase was adjusted by the ********* but the extra concrete step was not added until 11/3/23. Up to date the stairs is still not completed or re-inspected. Just an FYI- Mr ********************** have not returned to my property since July 31, 2023, he does not call and he does not follow up with any work done, for example, the drainage for the gutters- there is a trench left across my gait since 11/3 still not completed. Also, the lock on the door he installed is not working. I am frustrated with the no call and no show, I am frustrated with constantly having to ask him to complete the job, I am frustrated with all his excuses and him not keeping his word.I have being waiting for approximately 4 months and still waiting for the completion of the stairs and for re-inspection.My complaint is that I feel as if I am being taken advantage of/ taken for granted by Mr **********************. I have also lost opportunities to rent my apartment due to this procrastination and unwarranted delay. This behavior is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. I would like to be compensated $6,500 all the stress, time and money lost. Please see pictures uploaded below. Thanks, *******
