1 starRef: Booking Number ******** MSC Seashore 5/4/25 ************** Hello,My name is *** ******. I bought my first MSC cruise package through Dream Vacations a division of World Travel Holdings, expecting to travel on May 4, 2025. Unfortunately, I ended up getting sick and having an emergency medical procedure done. I called Dream Vacations to get credit for the $415 package I bought but was told they could not do that. I thought I could get my money back because of the medical emergency I had which was out of my control, and I was never told I needed to buy insurance. I am now reaching out to BBB for help with this matter. Credit back to my card with be appreciated. If not, a credit voucher with MSC Cruise would be fine so I can plan my next cruise. I worked hard to buy my first cruise with *** because I had never travelled with MSC and was told it was genuinely nice. Also, I can send copies of my medical record and/or procedure as evidence. Thank you.Review fromJohn D

1 starResort For a Day is a business owned by the ************** - World Travel Holding which is an existing large business. However beware that Resort for a Day runs a scam model - Firstly the rates on their website are 15 to 20% more than what you will get directly from the resort. For instance the resort for a day at the Viva Wyndham Heavens in the ****************** is $50 if booked directly but sold at $65 on their website. Despite pointing it out to them they dont care and sell at a higher price. Secondly, they do not offer a price match or guarantee (as they know they mark-up all their prices). Thirdly, if you have a voucher they will apply it only to the deposit amount required and cancel the whole voucher versus applying the voucher to the cost of the resort. For instance lets say the advertise the resort price for $125 with an advance booking fee of $25 and you have a voucher for $75. Rather than applying the $75 voucher to the $125 resort fee leaving you with a balance of $50 to be paid by you, they will instead apply the $75 voucher to the $25 advance payment and cancel the entire voucher thereby requiring you to pay $100 at the resort. NOW THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT SCAM.yes it is true that if your ship skips a port they will refund the amount collected from you but that's it. Almost all resorts do the same when booked directly with them as well. My opinion do not overpay with Resort For a Day and book directly with the resort. You will save tons of money in the long run.World Travel Holdings, Inc.

1 star*** is the parent company of Cheapcruises.com, and as such must he held responsible for their FALSE advertisement. We booked a 7 days cruise on Nov 2024, which offered a $50.00 gift card to be provided either via email or via a physical card eight (8) weeks upon completion of the cruise. It's been 3 months, and we're still waiting to receive the $50.00 gift card. We have reached out multiple time re: the status of this gift card, and are given run-arounds each and every time. We spoke with ******** on Jan 1. 2025, who said it was being processed. NO GIFT CARD. We again reached out and spoke with **** (very nasty attitude) on March 03, 2025. I told her that we will be filing a complaint with the BBB and posting online reviews to alert potential customers of their FALSE ADVERTISEMENT SCAM. She threatened saying that if we did that, she/they (cheapcruises.com) have our name and addresses and will retaliate (do not know how). Bottom line, NO GIFT CARD. We reached out again on March 31, 2025 and spoke with ********. NO CARD. This company seems to have a proven FALSE ADVERTISEMENT RECORD, of promising gift cards to entice customer to book with them and then no deliver on the promises. We will be posting this complaint on ******, *********** and every where else we can find.World Travel Holdings, Inc.

1 starHad to cancel cruise within 24 hours of booking. I dont know how I was booked through Cheapcruises.com when I called the Cruisesonly phone number. They stated $100 fee (non refundable). Told representative that contracts in ** can be cancelled with no penalty within 24 hours. They relented, but still charged a $24.99 fee for processing. Will most likely dispute with credit card. Their prices were more than the cruise line direct prices. Would give negative stars if able.Review fromTracy F

1 starI had to cancel my booking six weeks after making it. I was charged $100 for cancellation when the paperwork said no fee if I cancel before July. The cruise is in 246 days which gives them plenty of time to cancel. Also $610 that i paid for insurance was kept due to their "rule" that if I cancel 10 days after booking the insurance is non-refundable. An absolute scam!!!! I booked with them once prior with no problems but I did not buy their insurance or cancel. Buyer beware! I will never ever use them again.World Travel Holdings, Inc.

1 starI booked a cruise with Cruises Only in Oct ************************************************************************* with the cruise confirmation email. I initially called in and spoke with an agent and she said "yes I see that it is a $62/person difference" in our initial price. She then told me that I had to have my husband call to make the changes bc he was the lead passenger (something I've never heard of). This was supposed to be a surprise for our 33rd wedding anniversary. So I had to tell him so he could call and make the changes. The 2nd call in by my husband was initiated and we spoke to a different agent. She was very rude and didn't know any of the general terms and conditions. She talked over me several times, initially saying it was only a $3/person difference. I asked for her email and sent the information that was emailed to me regarding the price drop. She then stated that the change had to be made withing 48 hours of making the booking. I asked her what were the chances of having a price drop 2 days after making the reservation. They have a 110%- price guarantee which she was unaware of. She kept asking me where I was seeing that information, although *** on their website under " terms and conditions ". I asked her if she worked with the company, shoulder she be familiar with these? She became biligerent and accused me of trying to insult her. I asked to speak with her manager and she placed me on hold-dor quite awhile. Then the manager answered the phone and was very rude, talking over me and not allowing me to talk. He also was raising his voice to me. He accused me of making the reservation over the internet, which was untrue. I had called and spoke with a representative when I made this reservation and I strictly remember because I was attempting to make the deposit for the cruise and my credit card was denied so I had to use other methods of payment, i.e. a third party company in which the cruise was financed and I paid monthly payments.Review fromH. 1 starThis is a false advertising complaint about not honoring a free gratuity promotion. I booked a 7-day *********************************************** trip for 3 at Cruises.com on Jan 12 after seeing this promotion. Because this issue had happened to me before (my complaint worked to receive the promotion), I checked the details step by step to make sure the free gratuity was there for my balcony class. I took a screen shot too. I also talked to an agent to verify the trip and promotion. But the itinerary received did not show the promotion again. I called its customer service but did not get it resolved. I called later and communicated with a supervisor ********* with the picture sent. She denied the promotion with a screen shot for a different program or trip without showing date and time taken. They seem to have a consistent practice (2 of 2 times for all my bookings) to lure a senior person without honoring its promotion.World Travel Holdings, Inc.

Mr. ****,
The Carnival cruise line pre-paid gratuities promotion is not applicable to the cruise rate that you selected when you booked online, how ever you did receive the lowest rate for your upcoming sailing. The previous cruise you booked with us was on Celebrity cruise lines and they honored the pre-paid gratuities as a one time exception for you. We encourage you that when you are ready to book again please give us a call and speak with one of our travel professional to make sure that you get the promotions and pricing that you want, they will be able to go over all the options available to that specific sailing. Thank you for your business and Happy Cruising.

The business continues to lie as the first time I showed the screenshots page to page they could deny. It was not an exception! Why dont they show the true screenshots with correct date/time and trip matching for the second trip? The rate I got was about $500 more expensive than another booking site I found later. Do trust the business! I will not book again at Cruises.com.Review fromGerville L

1 star******** ****** provided personal information about my cruise to other traveling individuals on a cruise booked by my brother. I noted that she never contacted me to inquiry whether she could divulge the information to other cruisers I had no knowledge of even though she said it was a relative of mine after I called her out. She also told my sister that the upper lever suite I purchased, I was afforded more loot than other sailors. Much to my chagrin, I was only given the same amount as all the other sailors. I am so glad the company she works for and the cruise ship company I am traveling on gives her bonuses for all the bookings she makes including free sailings on the ship. As a company owner, if I would breach my clients private info, I would be subjected to punitive damages. I got no additional credits beyond the $100 sailor loot even though I paid for a full Rockstar Suite. This doesnt make or break me, but stay the h*** away from World Travel Holdings. There is a reason why they are not a BBB rated business.Review fromCHARLENE B

1 starMy Name is *************** On 9/16/2024 I called in to complain about the misinformation I was given between Cruises and ***************. The ***resentative was rude and condescending, she then proceeded to hang up on me. I did not raise my voice or use profanity she started to say she was not being rude when I went to explain what I heard she cut me off. I told her to let me finish. The whole time I thought I was on the phone with a person she had hung up and I was left talking to air. I then went on a search to find out who I could speak to next. I called back and I explained my issue to the next *** she put me on hold for quite some time. When she came back she said someone would reach out. I was calling because I wanted to know how to get an upgrade with my room. As I was telling the *** ***** said to contact the party we made the reservation with. I told the *** that and that is when the conversation went downhill. We are Diamond level with Royal and a good level with cruises I was following up to see why we could not get any upgrades. Where were these hidden perks of reaching a higher level and all I received was left with were empty air and long hold times? Very DisappointedWorld Travel Holdings, Inc.

1 starI booked a cruise with ****** and everything was paid for. But we had to cancel the cruise because of emergency surgery; when I called them to see if they could help to work out with the cruise line, They said there was nothing they could do. I contacted cruise line, I was told they could do nothing since it was booked through agent. At the end of the day, Nothing that WTH can do to help. and they even charge me an extra $100 cancellation fee. All they do is try to get your money. DO BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH THEM.World Travel Holdings, Inc.

************,
We are sorry to see that you had to cancel your cruise vacation due to an emergency. The $100.00 WTH cancel fee has been submitted for refund as a one-time courtesy to you and should appear on your credit card statement with in 1 to 2 billing cycles.
The penalty is held by the cruise line and is their cancellation policy in which WTH has no control over and is not able to waive it. We suggest to always purchasing travel insurance in the furture for unforseen incidents and emergencies.
