I bought all the jackets for the firm I worked at and I had given it to my vendor to do the work with specific instructions and asked for a sample several times before he does the work to make sure he understood the assignment. He was given a pdf with all the names correctly spelled and all the teams. Also told him Id be available anytime for questions. He ended up doing his own thing with it basically and by that I mean he misspelled several things and completely did not follow the designs I told him and gave me all the jackets back without completing the rest of the work. So now all jackets are defective and he only refunded me for the work. But I told him he should pay back for all the jackets as well because they were handed to him fresh and now are defective. He refuses to pay for the jackets even though he is the reason the jackets now cannot be used as they contain every employees first and complete last name which we had asked for him to not do. But moreover he misspelled peoples first and last names and replicated on several jackets. I only want the 2K back for the cost of all the jackets since we cant use them and will throw them away. Also the amount I paid him for the work done was 1.3k which he did refund back. But since he was given the jackets clean and untouched and they are now only defective because of the work he did on them, he should be liable for the negative 2K we are going high is because we now have negative 47 jackets because of him.
