Our three year old refrigerator we purchased from Salemi stopped working 5 weeks ago. We thought it was an electrical storm? A service man from Salemi came out two days later and told us we needed a part. We were told that part was not available and they could not order it. I called Electrolux and ordered the part we were told we needed. When that part came in a service man came out to install it. He found that we needed another part. We waited three weeks for that part to come in. It was I believe ordered without cost to us. But, I had to call and check up on this part. Yesterday, I called about the part and also left a message for the owner. The owner called me this morning and told me that the situation was out of control and I would have to seek services elsewhere. He offered no explanation. He did say neither of his service techs wanted to go our home. He was not polite. He did not want to listen to anything I had to say. The above salesman that I talked to, **** M, who ordered the second part told me that when that part came in a service man would come to my home and install it without additional charge. We paid a total of $320 for service and $240 for a part and our refrigerator is still not working. Also the second service man we had- I was not home but my daughter in law was-badly scratch up the wood floor in front of fridge. When I asked the owner about this he said he didnt care about our floor. I asked for a refund on our service calls and the part we bought and he snapped at me no warrantee on service. I would like my refrigerated fixed and my floor repaired

The floor was damaged prior to our arrival and it was pointed out to our tech by the homeowner; we also use appliance slides to move appliances in and out. Both our techs have refused to go back out to the consumers home. We only charged for the trip out and labor for diagnosis ($314.95) and replacing the board that was purchased from the manufacture so we are unable to refund a charge for something we didnt sell.We also had to change the 1st part to see if the other part was needed which we received and gave to the customer at no charge.

I am rejecting this response because:  Our floor was not damaged prior to the second visit from Salemi.  I was not home but my daughter in law was.  She would have no idea if the floor had damage before the service visit. I asked her about this  and she said *** did not mention any damage to the floor.  She also asked *** to please use a  mat to protect the floor. On the first visit I had to ask *** if he would please use something to protect the floor.  He used a large blue rubber or plastic mat.
I was told by salesman  **** M on or about Aug 11 that he would work on getting me a new inverter from Electrolux and then it would be installed without further charge.  He told me that was what he (****) had been told to him.

    We spent a total of $389 on 2 service calls - ****** each visit on 7/15 and 7 /28

    Sincerely,

if the floor got damaged it wasn't by our tech as they always use a skid pad to protect floors. this has turned into an ugly situation. if you look at our history you do not get complaints about Salemi appliance

I am rejecting this response because:
You are incorrect that your service *** used a pad.  I had to ask him to use a pad after he had already pulled the fridge out from it place onto the kitchen floor.

I would like Salemi to reimburse me the $214 I spent to have another service person fix my fridge 2 days ago.  He said we likely didnt need to buy a new main board.
I would also like my kitchen floor ***aired.  Your maintaining the damage caused to floor was not Salemis fault is false.

    Sincerely,

Purchased a hood to go over my stove on 3/20/23 and also paid for installation. The installation was done incorrectly and I am unable to use it because it is a fire hazard. After installation I was reviewing their work and saw the bent piping to try to acomodate their installation which again is causing a fire hazard. The installers also damaged my cook top and back splash; there is a large piece now missing off my cook top as well as several scratches that were not there, for the back splash several pieces broke off.
I called Salemis several times to try to resolve this and have it installed correctly but they are denying any of my requests.

we texted on 3/25/23 saying we would be in contact to correct the installation; we called back on Monday 3/27/23 and left a message to contact us. we called again on 3/29/23 and to pick a new hood so we can swap out to a hood that would work. we never heard back from customer so we emailed customer on 3/29/23 stating that we need to pick out a new hood to correct the installation and needed a model/serial number to fix the range; never heard back from customer. we emailed again on 4/4/23 asking to get in touch with us to correct the issue and still no response. have been waiting to hear back from customer since.

We will need to pick out a different hood to work. come down to the store anytime or give us a call and we can discuss different options. the hood that is currently installed will not work for that location. we will need to find a hood that has a deeper duct cover to cover the opening correctly. i went through the emails we sent and we did mistype the email so i could see why you never received our emails. either way give us a call or stop in the store so we can resolve the issue and go with a different hood.

I am rejecting this response because:

Please see the attachment of what the business just emailed me, if they sent the email to the incorrect address I believe they would have received an undelivered email?

I don’t want anything to do with the Salemi business, I want them to come pick up the hood they installed, with my money back and fix the top of my stove they cracked/chipped.

Again I can gladly provide phone records that I received no phone calls from Salemis.

    Sincerely,
