Jesse D************** JDB came to see property and give an estimate for an Illusions 4-post Pergola for my climbing roses that I had on the deck when he came.Jesse indicated that they had a pergola department specifically trained for installations. Theestinate came 5/30/23 for $2945.00, I paid the down payment (1/2) on 5/30/23 upon receiving the estimate-. The install began 7/6/23. Jesse was not in town for the install. They did not finish. It rained in the dug holes for two of the days and they came back to finish on 7/11/23. I made the final payment 7/19/23. When I went to plant the roses, I was hitting all cement. I emailed Jesse to ask why did they not use the forms for the posts so that I would still be able to plant. He indicated that they did it to code and there was nothing that he could do. I went back and forth with him through email about how a rose pergola should be installed so that flowers can be planted. I reminded him that he told me that his department was trained for this purpose. When I pushed the issue, he indicated that he would come and see it when he could. Jesse said he would come when they had a job in Westfield. I called and spoke with Colin T**** on 5/5/23. He said he understood and would speak to Jesse to get a quick resolution. He said he would call by the end of the day. I didn't hear back from him. I was transferred to the owner on Thursday (5/7/23) but had to leave a message. I am getting the runaround and have 600 dollars worth of roses on the deck baking in the summer heat. I would like to have the pergola installed with footings and forms so that the cement won't spread and prevent me from planting on it.
