We ordered a stove on sale during Black Friday weekend. It was to be delivered on Tuesday November 29th. After twice claiming all the stock was damaged, they agreed to deliver a different item the next week. The night before delivery they cancelled and said the original stove would be in that next day. Today, December 9th the stove was finally delivered and the cord was not even wired to the stove. My electrician happened to be there and was able to wire it. I am not a first time customer with them but after this I wouldnt ever recommend them to anyone and would never purchase anything in the future. Too bad because we are in need of other appliances. Beware of the excuses and promises.

Whitco should not be able to get away with this, so we are writing this review to warn others and hopefully get Whitco to do the right thing. We were and still are being given the runaround and excuse after excuse. Due to us being patient and giving B*** at Whitco many chances, BBB will not allow us to file a complaint because of their one year window policy. It is due to B*** stringing us along that the initial occurrence is past one year, but this is a current and ongoing unsolved issue. Our story: Sept 2019 we purchased a set of Frigidaire kitchen appliances from B*** at Whitco for about $4,000. We were having our kitchen remodeled and wanted new appliances. Our kitchen project was delayed several months and left unfinished. We were one of the many victims of R** at ************************, B*** knew this. ******* stole $20k of our money and left our kitchen gutted and unfinished. Whitco said our appliances could be stored in their warehouse until we were ready for them. In July 2020 work started on our kitchen again, Whitco delivered us our refrigerator and microwave only because they had sold our dishwasher and stove. B*** said he had to reorder them. During delivery the Whitco crew unwrapped our 4-door refrigerator and carried it up five steps to the side entrance to our kitchen, at which time the right upper door swung open hitting the railing of our deck and was dented. This was due to it not being taped or secured shut. We made the driver aware, took pictures and the driver told B*** what had happened. B*** assured us he would get us a new door. A month later we were told the door was in and would be delivered with the dishwasher but that did not happen. Now, two years later and dozens of phone calls and excuses we still have a refrigerator with a dented door. At this point we dont have any faith in B*** at Whitco to provide us with a replacement door so we would like a full refund for the cost of the refrigerator ($955 incl. tax).
