      My insurance broker, Paramount Trust, failed to provide any support or communication when I experienced financial hardship and attempted to resolve my auto insurance coverage. I was unable to reach them by phone or email, which resulted in my policy being canceled, a balance going to collections, and additional financial and legal .In Jan, 2025. I lost my job and reached out to Progressive Insurance to request an extension or payment arrangement. They informed me that I needed to work through my insurance broker, Paramount Trust.I made multiple attempts to contact Paramount Trust by phone and email all of which failed. The listed phone number was out of service, and every email I sent bounced back as undeliverable. I had no way to speak to a live agent or receive any support.Because of this total lack of accessibility and communication, my insurance policy was canceled. As a result, I:Incurred a balance now at risk of going to collections Was dropped as a Progressive customer Had to pay more to become reinsured Am now at risk of losing my vehicle registration I have since filed a formal complaint with the Massachusetts Division of Insurance. I am filing this BBB complaint to make the public aware of Paramount Trusts negligence and lack of professional standards, and to seek an explanation, formal acknowledgment, and potential resolution.
