Cooling Unlimited's initial quote and installation of my ********** split system in 2017 went well. However, since the installation I have been having annual issues with coolant leaks. They topped me up as part of a routine maintenance call in 2018. They charged me over $1100 in 2019 to refill the system. I had annual issues in 2020 and 2021. They topped me up for free those 2 times. Since August 2021 I have tried to get them to fix the system once and for all. They admitted they have known since 2019 that there was a problem with some of the copper lines they used back in 2017, but they refuse the fix the problem except to charge me $6000--their cost--for the fix. Yes, the installation warranty was only a year, but they have strung me along for YEARS. The last seven months have been particularly galling because I thought we were reaching an accord only to be ignored and pushed off for weeks and months at a time. Cooling Unlimited and its president does not stand behind their work or the distributors and materials they use. Beware.
