I purchased 4 boxes of flooring tiles from two different distributors (3 from Hobby Lobby and 1 from Joann Fabrics) on 3/19 totaling $50.72. The tiles are two completely different tones and are not sticking to my floor, despite following the instructions/warranty instructions perfectly. Some of the tiles when pulled out of the box had the backing folded up, exposing the adhesive. I would assume that this is why the tile is lifting. I have been dealing with a customer service representative named Nicole Ivester ([email protected]) who is inconsistent and unresponsive to my questions. Her reasoning as to why the tiling is colored and patterned differently is because the tiles are from two different batch numbers (They are) and that I was not supposed to apply them to linoleum, which is absolutely false. When I confronted her with proof that what she said was false (that you cannot apply the tiles to linoleum) she says "I never said that". I asked for her to provide proof of documentation of where it states on their website for tiles to be purchased from the same batch # and/or store location in order to receive a consistent product and she refuses to answer and just says "it's common knowledge" but then will use that is the excuse as to why they are not honoring the warranty. I then will ask her to provide where it says on the website that you cannot apply them on linoleum and she refuses to provide any sort of straight forward proof of this. I told her this matter is urgent because the tiles are lifting and are dangerous, I've tripped over them many times. My kitchen is also half ripped up and waiting for them to help me move forward with this. She told me to try and return them through the stores in which I purchased them from, which I did and both stores state that this is a distributor issue and they can't take back used product. When I tell her this, she just tells me over and over again to keep trying to return them to the store. `
