Additional Information

Refund and Exchange Policy
We are a Real Estate Brokerage and therefore manage "Deposits" differently than many other businesses since we are highly regulated as to how deposit or as otherwise known "Escrow" funds are to be managed. We take pains to insure our actions vis a vis , deposits being held, are undertaken in accordance with current law and regulation of the State of Massachusetts. A basic tenet of that is the term "mutual instructions" calling for agreement between the respective parties to a transaction, typically in writing, before funds are moved.  Commonly, checks are taken, in anticipation of a an agreement being reached, which when that is not the case, are returned. With the advent of the internet world, receipt of such deposits mentioned are transmitted as a representation or image of a check, the original of which is neither delivered nor deposited, until and unless an agreement is reached, hence no need to "return". Real Estate law is also different than many or most other purchases of goods or services in that once delivery is made there are no provisions for what would commonly be known as a "Return", however there are other avenues for relief, if warranted.
