Stay as far away from this dealership as you possibly can!!!! I purchased my 2018 ****** Rav4 from ****** Motors last year in February. I absolutely love my car and have no issues with it. The Issue I have with Tracy Motors is with their sneaky and unethical business practices. One year later, I have come to discover they have crippled my very new credit progress. When I visited the establishment on 2/6/23 I was very excited to be buying a new used car for the first time! The car I traded in for the new one I purchased and spent the same amount of money on repairs to keep it on the road. I have come to discover that one of their former finance employees took to hitting my credit report with ******************** just one day. I had no knowledge they were basically throwing my name out there 13 times!!! it's typical practice to wait until a lendor comes back with a yes or no. Rather than wait for an answer, the business, decided on their own to blanket the market with my social security number. I have also come to discover they implimented a third party company to take money from my account and pay the lender I received a loan from. I can do that on my own! They disguised this transaction under "documentation fee" in the contract that I signed. Also, not informing me of this, my sister who was in the room and a co-signer on my loan did not here any explanation of this "service" I was being "offered". I most definitely would have denied it. The took me for $399 for the "documentation fee" now I have to deal with canceling the service. It's paid for the term of the loan agreement,but transaction fees from my bank would equal up to $720 that the company would gain from me. They are called *************, just so people know. I have reached out to them in civil emails and have not one response back. I've contacted the attorney general and transcredit union about disputing the credit inquires. BEWARE!! they are dishonest and care nothing about you!
